It's that time of year again, where we vote on the year's best offerings, and I try to think of a new color for the trophy images. Being a man, that's VERY hard to do.

Anyway, head over to
http://www.o-review.com/awards.asp

And put in your entries. As always, remember that except for the New Release and O-Review specific questions, the items don't have to debut this year, just be available during the year. So high hopes for the SI Boot and Kitchen Sink to snag the win again. I'll be thread bumping throughout the month, and we'll tally things up come the start of the year.

The Timeline may help:

Always interesting results - some surprising, some not so much. The Kitchen Sink may still be winning awards by the time my son is headed off to High School.

You may be an Oakley fanatic if
by the time my son is headed off to High School
is being planned with thoughts of the Kitchen Sink.

The JFL, Bandito Bandana and Water Tank wins are shocking. Didn't think they were that popular.

I am surprised with the Airwave - I thought the initial excitement quickly diminished with poor execution.

The JFL, I thought, made for a fine Best New Release - but was surprised to see it as best men's eyewear. Particularly since Dispatch II is still in our midst. :)

Definitely the JFL is a little surprising in the top men's glasses spot, perhaps with the official discontinuation of X-metals people didn't want to vote for something that's basically gone now. I really like the JFL though, glad it has the fanfare which means there's a good chance the model numbers will increase (bad for my wallet). Big fan of the Bandito mask too, I have one for my Airbrake. I only wish that they would have made the fabric portion easily detachable from the plastic portion that clips into the goggles. Would have made for easy washing/cleaning. The only flaw with that mask in my mind.

I was surprised by the airwave too. It seemed a lot of people were dissapointed with them once they saw them in person. I have seen one but never played around with it.
Glad to see the JFL got some love. It is a really great pair IMO
