Since Luxottica bought Oakley, isn't the same brand, now or in the future will be made in China or Brazil, not Made in USA?? I don't now

The bit about Brazil is referring to product to be sold in Brazil. Brazil's import tax is outrageous so this is a way to get around it. Oakley has been producing apareal specifically for Brazil in Brazil for this same reason for quite some time.

As for the China Lens thing, I am seriously hoping that is a type-o.

Surprising they're so overt with it.

It seems like they are shifting more and more to China... At least for the wire frames.
I just got some lists in with stuff I can get for my store. At the probations the list says made in China...

I was at my local o-store yesterday and my friend who works there pulled me aside and showed me a pair of the new Crosshairs and they have "Made in China" on the inside of the leg where the "Made in USA" should be. I asked if this was the only model that had it and he said for now it is =(

Another nail in the Coffin of the brand i once knew..... what a sad change.

Very uninspired by the last few years of releases, and if they are made in China well i will only be enjoying what i have.

Profit beyond reason, that is...

Makes me want to look elsewhere more and more.

I have no problem regarding quality with "made in china" products. But politically, and for a brand who sounds patriotic, that's really sad...

Lux takeover.

Just a matter of time. Saw this one coming a mile away, ladies & gentlemen.

I wish Lux would take a dive off the highest cliff possible. And maybe Obama could follow 'em... Start their own litle country and ruin their sunglasses & economy.

Glad I have collected what I have, because it appears to be all downhill from here, folks!

I can say that I really don't have any sympathy for lux. I spoke to them at some trade-shows, because of my store.
And the arrogance... It is just unbelievable... They really feel like they are too good at everything. They feel like they are way above people like you and me.
I can go on at that, but I won't ;)
