This is a very comfortable pair of sandals. I been using sandals for a long time and when I tested this one, I'm really surprised. I never thought that oakley could produced such a fine pair like this.

These are the best sandals I have ever owned. Didn't like the stretchy ring at the back, but now prefer this to velcro. The sandals fit snug and you can do high intensity activities in them. They are very comfortable and can even be worn in the water. They dry fast and have excellent grip. I will only wear oakley sandals from now on.

its a must have sandals...although break-in period is tough..

I've given my Smoke Rings a real bashing over the last two years - being a sailing instructor they're in and out of water constantly and on tough gravel and sand. Plus wear them constantly anyway throughout the summer everywhere. They're magic. They're still in near perfect condition. They dry out pretty quickly and give great support. Uber comfotable. I've never worn a better sandal. Simply brilliant.

Not a big sandle guy but these are great for the pool/beach/lake whatever - i'm not a fan of shoe laces either and love the fit of these - very secure!

Yes. I have 5 pairs. The 2nd Generation has a better design look wise but the 1st Gen with the pull laces is a better fit. i love these that I got 5 pairs!

The 03 model I believe (previous to the ones pictured here). Bought these on sale for about half retail. Great sandals, bit of a pain to get on as the ring seems to not give too much, but this is probably done on purpose so you can be active without them flying off and hitting someone in the face. The smooth suede is great looking, the metal icon is a great touch.

I found a clearance sale on these a couple years ago and had to try them... no regrets! These are very comfortable sandals with a supportive foot bed and grippy outsole. I have not noticed any of the pressure points or chafing that can occur with other sport sandals. The pull tab on the back has a cool reflective silver "SMOKE" print. My 2002 model has a bit more subdued styling than the current version.
