TERRORISM -
Frame: Emerald
Lens: Gold

The original Straight Jackets - considered by many to now be vintage or "classics" - pioneered Oakley design for future renditions of this pair of popular shades. Built for those with medium to large profiles, these glasses provide excellent coverage with larger lenses and also protect perephrial vision. Emerald and Gold still reign as a beautifully orchestrated color combo, but by today's standards these glasses appear to be a bit dated in terms of aesthetics. Still, an overall solid pair of Oakleys that offer fit, comfort, and adequate protection.

These were my second pair of Oakley sunglasses and were by far my favourite for a long time. Hard waring and could take a bounding. I loved the fit and the weight and had them for 10yrs until a crack appeared in the frame.

Great glasses and would get a new pair if i could

The Pearl were my first Oakleys ever. The EM were equally awesome. It was love at first sight with the SJs. After the New SJs came out, I realized that the originals didn't quite fit me as well as the new ones. I've lost my originals, and it breaks my heart that I can't quite seem to find them again.

Frame: Suede
Lens: Gold

One would wonder why wrapping a frame in suede would be a good idea. While it doesn't appear to be true suede, it looks like the same material as on the Mars, so it should ruin nicely all the same. Unlike the Mars, there aren't too many places where I can pick them up without touching the suede, so it gets me scared about the long term effects of handling them. Might be best to have a de-humidifier in the room too in order to help out with the moisture in the air. Better yet, vacuum seal them in a box and all should be well.

My buddy gave me these, he tried them on and didn't like them and since they were oakley I quickly accepted his gift. They are quickly becoming one of my favorite pairs of thermonuclear protectors.Strange for me because of my affinity for the more expensive line of oakley. I use these everyday now they are incredably comfortable(due to its light weight, great sculpture and ear socks), have never fallen off and of course are optically perfect. The raked styling has great appeal and I love how the bridge comes out(flat bridges never look good on me). Next to monster dogs these are my favorite glasses for everyday use. I deffinatly need a nother pair with a polarized lense ^_^

Sum up.
Light weight.Great Design.Good Pricing.A must have.

Frame: dark grey
Lens: black iridium (ducati edition)

they are my first pair of oakley. very sport functional (they stay well on my face while roller blading or biking), and sedimental as I've bought them while studying abroad in Italy. Tried other Italian designer brands...but the quality of oakley lens just stood out too much (hence my obsession now). Impulse buy...since I needed a pair for the Italian summer. What better represent Italy than a Ducati sig?

Frame: Bengal
Lens: Black Iridium

I'm not a fan of animal prints and when I saw these at an Oakley Vault, I understood why no one bought these. Frame color aside, these are a bit larger than the New Straight Jackets, similar to the Monster Dogs. Their fit is similar, which is to say comfortable. A good first effort.

used to be my favorites until they made 'em smaller. closest to the monster dog. fit my big head well and the color was less flashy than the 5.56

Another must-have for any odd collection. I now have all three tiger striped frame colors. (Except for the Blue Tiger, but Lex is probably lying) The fit is okay, but I didn't buy these to wear. They're too valuable.

Frame: leather suede clear

A good design, solid frame leathers are impractical if they are to look good but I wonder if they wouldn't "wear in" nicely like a good pair of loafers or gloves.

These are cool. I still wear mine from 1999. Never gets old. Blocks the sun completely.

You can't wear these. They'd get wrecked on the first day. But what a collector pair. So cool looking if you think Fozzie Bear from the Muppets is cool looking

Frame: Electric Mustard
Lens: Black Iridium
So strange, They have a big lens shape to fit my big mug but the earstems fit so tightly that I can't wear them for very long at all without discomfort. It's a shame too because they are such a great looking pair.

Frame: Emerald
Lens: Gold
One of the first frames I purchased when I started collecting Oakleys. The frame is big, but oddly they fight me kinda tight. A very popular style in their day (at least at the Sunglass Hut I worked at). The frames with the leather and suede wrap were just crazy!!! (But in a good way) It showed they way that Oakley just does things different.

Frame:Suede
Lens:Gold Iridium

Awesome Sunglasses, must be the craziest, impractical frame style they ever did,so pretty much one for the collector.
Styled for medium to large faces, its slightly too big for me,but still wearable.
The nosepiece is even covered in suede!

my 7th pair of these uncomfortable frames, but they do come in some great colours, ive anted this combo for a while and i didnt want to get it in a twenty or a minute cos it looks the best on this frame.
green and gold looks great together so any green fans with definately want this combo.

Frame: Leather Wrap

I hate the way these fit my head! Way too tight! But I love the way they look. Big frames with big, tapering earstems & cool colorways. I but them just for the collection when I can get them for a good price.

Frame: Leather Wrap
Lens: Gold Iridium

I hadn't wanted these, but heard of them, and my mind started bugging me. Same goes for the Bengal, but perhaps another time. The leather seems treated, but I don't intend on wearing them in the rain, or much at all. Pretty much a collector's piece, but since I love the odd frames that Oakley gives us once in a while, they were well worth it.

The Gold Iridium is great as always, and they are pretty comfortable, as well as having good coverage.

Frame:Leather Wrap

Finally completed my Straight jacket collection and I finish on one of the craziest pair of glasses oakley has ever made,
i mean come on who the fook wraps sunglasses in leather that looks like snakeskin.
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

Frame:Yellow
Lens:Black Iridium

Ive been wanting a pair of yellow oakleys for ages, sadly they are not available in many styles.
but nearly all fakes seem to come in yellow.
once again these are chunky and uncomfortable but come in such great colours that i have to get them.
1 more pair and im done.

They even smell like leather too!

Frame: 7.62 , Sand , Matte Clear
Lens: Black , Gold , Blue

A great, classic style of eyewear. A bit dated, much like the eye jackets. But still a superb fit for those with larger faces and some great color combinations.
LEX7 -
Frame:Matte Clear
Lens:Black Iridium, Blue Iridium & persimmon

ive always wanted a pair of clear framed oakleys but it is a shame they were made in these uncomfortable frames.
Clear looks soo cool and different which is why i have all 3 colour combos it comes in. I would have prefered this
clear frame colour to be introduced into the Eye jackets.
LEX7 -
Frame: Bengal
Lens: Black Iridium

Dunno know why I keep getting these (Damn Ebay)
I find this frame uncomfortable to wear but I love the way they look, ive now got 4 of the classics
Bengal is basically orange and black tiger Stripes. very very cool and unusual. I have this colour on a pair of racing jackets and it looks great on them too. A true rare collectors item so snap them up if you ever find a pair.

I want to get more of them (specially the bright yellow ones) but I doubt I will ever wear them they will just reside in my Collection

The best Oakley for large faces and big heads. I would have said the top new Oakley of the time would have been the Eye Jacket, and it definitely didn't fit all. This was a better frame than the Trench Coat and square lens option was nice to have available. I found them too big for myself but they were an easy sell to others. Metallic Sand was a great color and Electric Mustard was just nuts as was wrapping them in Suede.
