I have it on the Splice and it looks good with Ice. Although it is only a small amount of FMJ+ O-Matter on this frame. Sadly they don't use it or FMJ 5.56 on the modern frames.
I'll have to give this finish a 3 (perhaps it deserved 4 skulls) due to its lack of attractiveness. Other FMJ finishes such as FMJ Red, Electric Mustard, and especially its more "silver" counterpart FMJ 5.56 are far more appealing to the eye. Still, a nice alternative if you're looking for a full metal jacket frame.
I think this frame benefits on the Scar due to the added metal hinge accent. Without that little flash of chrome, I don't think this frame would look near as good. The chrome breaks up the frame and creates interest. It's a nice subtle silver color.
I find it very bright on my EJ 2.0 sets the black lens nicely.
A good compromised between a dark grey and something like polished aluminium. The kind of frame that will go well with anything.
A flat silver, so you don't have to walk around looking very chrome plated or bright silver. Works well with cold colored lenses. One of the less exciting FMJ's, but the tradeoff is the added versatility because it works with more lenses and outfits.
More grey than its more popular counterpart, FMJ 5.56. This showed up on a few frames and it best compared when using this Ice and Fire Splice.
Other than being FMJ, this color is nothing spectacular. The satin silver finish is ok, but I prefer darker shades of FMJ.
Have this on my Splices and I think that it looks nicer than 5.56 even though the differences are very small. Looks great with Ice too.
