Deep blue mirror with hues of purple and red blending out to the edges, this lens is superb! I first saw it on the radar white chrome and blue iridium. But it was way overpriced... until I won a polished white bottlecap with blue iridium lens (totally sick) online... and the price wasn't too bad to boot. I hope they don't scratch too easily like perhaps the earlier releases, like someone else here mentioned. Can't wait for it to arrive.

Not really mirrored at all. I wanted mirrored lenses and when I asked the guy on the phone if people would be able to see my eyes he replied with a no. However, they're not really mirrored at all. Even from a distance. Dissapointed to be honest. If they were mirrored they'd definitely be the coolest lenses because of the color

Got these on my frogskins and I must say I am very pleased with them. From the outside they are a very pretty lens to look at and from the inside they remind me of a grey lens, which isn't bad in my opinion. To me this is what ice iridium should look like.

I have these in a pair of prescription Nanowire 4.0, and I just bought a pair of X Squared with Ice. Much prefer the Ice lens with its neutral base.

It's cool to look at, but not the best to look through. I like true color as opposed to contrast. I have it on a pair of Sub Zeros, so that makes it a bit more awesome.

Edit: I have it on Frogskins, and it is the gray base. It really strikes me as Ice Iridium, but it's called Blue on that pair. The jury is still out.

Worst lenses I have ever owned!!! The lenses were great for about 2 months, after that creases appeared in the coners of the lenses. By the end of the season i could hardly see out of them!! Creases filled the inside lens, When I tried to send back to oakley they wouldn't even replace them. Instead they offered me a $30 credit to there store on $135 goggles! Never buying oakley again, horrible customer service!

An extremely useful lens with a very nice base tint of VR28 with a blue iridium on top of it. It gives great contrast and IMO is a better choice than VR28 Black Iridium. My only gripe with Blue Iridium is that it's not nearly as solid as it should be. You can clearly see your eyes while wearing blue iridium and that's unacceptable.

Now that I have used my BI in Path shape and white chrome frames on a couple of bike training rides I can report that it is (for me) the most sporty sunlens that Oakley makes. It is not neutral but very uplifting in a wide range of light conditions. Especially in sunshine, where it gives both great clarity and nice protection from the bright light.

This is a contrast lens, almost like a darker Persimmon (it is based on VR 28). I notice that some users mention Ice Iridium.
That's a totally different lens tint (based on Grey). As I just got my Blue Iridium and already have Ice Iridium in the same format (Radar Path) I would like to come back later with a rating review.

The Blue Iridium lens has been created with at least two base lens colors, but the grey base color is by far my favorite. The color shimmers and shines like a vast, surreal ocean, and the lens provides excellent protection for bright conditions. Unfortunately this lens color is no longer availble. Will Oakley ever bring it back???

It's the superior Ice. More interesting to look at, with a hint of purple and sometimes green, but little difference when looking through it. Can't understand why Oakley replaced these with Ice.

Blue Iridium has quickly won me over with it's deep and perfect shade of blue. When compared to Ice it's a lot more of a deep blue whether Ice is more of a grey-ish blue. The green and purple hues make the lens so special and make it a thing of beauty! The neutral base tint makes it usable in lots of situations. This lens tint scores in every aspect!

Beautiful lenses (or at least the version I have in my gen 1 1.0 e-wires). Rich colours from the inside and much less of a mirror effect than modern ice means you can talk to people without needing to take your glasses off. Not flashy, just cool. Love them.

I bought a few set of these Incredible lenses , problem is they dont have equal amount of green in it , wich is why I bought a few sets before I chose the one with more green in it , I sold all the others I had this is my last set , and It has the Ichiro Signature , the green hue mixed with the purple is just amazing , there simply the nicest lookin lenses imo

I prefer this blue to the Ice. They are just a more rich tone of blue that looks deeper. Easy on the eyes and looks great. One of my all-time favorites.

I love this color! It's such a pleasing shade of Blue. A better looking lens than Ice in my opinion. A solid neutral contrast choice.

I like the colour, but I just not feeling all right with the colour when I see thru them.

One of the all-time great lenses from Oakley. I wish they would make this lens for more models. Just a superb lens for bright sunlight or partly cloudy days.

These are cool. You can use these for everyday use. Nothing to flashy about them which is the only drawback I find in them. They aren't your typical crazy flashy Oakley lens. I still use them occasionally when I feel like a change with my Juliets.

like 300orbust, i have this on my polished juliet too.

beautiful lenses, great transmission, and looked really cool on the carbon frame(ichiro wannabe).

the only reason i give it a 4 stars rating is becos they scratch way too easily.., even easier than ruby iridium! take care of these rare-to-be lenses if you have em, i heard that oakley isn't making them anymore(maybe becos of the scratching).

I have these in my polished juliets, and they really are a nice lens. They have a weaker mirror than the Ice iridium, and are a softer blue from what I've noticed. Mine often go turquoise, and sometimes take on a bit of purple. They're fine in the sun and offer decent enough protection.

The Blue iridium out now days (Pol Juliets) simply look amazing. Especially when compared to the ice iridium, the blue looks more rich, with purple tones. Too bad it's hard to come by and ice iridium has taken over ... for now.

The original Generation I Blue Iridium froms back in the days of the Sub zeros is still one of my favorite lenses. Good for bright days but there's just a hint of either amber or H.I. Yellow mixed to enhance contrast. It looks awesome from the outside, where it went from a brilliant blue to a lighter blueish-green at the edges. Perfect for skiing since they were just dark enough to cut most glare yet still provided enough contrast once the late afternoon rolled around. Oakley needs to bring this one back.

I have this in my Polished Juliets and I must say, simply stunning! This lens is awesome looking. It has a little bit of a turquoise color in some light conditions, but for the most part it's a deep royal blue. Lovin' it!

Used to have a pair of mframes (sweep) with this lens.Best lens i have ever used.Great for both sunny/low light conditions.Unfortunately this pair got smasched in my face when i fell of a motorcykle.Bought another pair of M frames with a similar lens (less blueish coating). It seems that the original Blue Iridium lens doesnt exist anymore.

I have this on an older Sub Zero. I've also tried it in a modern Juliet, and they are completely different. The modern Blue is like Ice only with a more bluer coating, as the Ice can get purple in spots. The older one however has the greenish Fire base lens, with the same Blue coating. Just untold generation changes I guess.

Really nice lens, I just got this recently on my white Frogskins and my matte clear Classic Straight Jackets,
The weird thing is when you look through the lens its similar to persimmon.
When you are wearing this lens people will see Blue Pink and Orange in the lens depending upon the angle and the light, so you will get some admiring looks.
Also a great lens for flat light.
