I have a pair of the Jordan Romeos which i bought back in 1997 or 1998, somewhere around there. They are the X-Metal Romeos with the red ear pieces and a number on the inner side of the nose piece that indicates the production number. I know they were limited in the number they produced. How much can I sell these things for? A few years after they all sold, I heard of ridiculous stories of people selling them for a couple thousand dollars. Anyways, I have contemplated selling them. They are in pretty good condition. I did use them for a couple seasons of snowboarding, but put them away after I heard the story of them being worth a pretty penny. The lens are in ok shape. I actually had prescription lens put in them the day I bought it and put the originals on after putting them away. The red ear pieces have been changed once, when I went to the Oakley factory and they used to not charge for any piece replacements. Just curious. thanks

I think the only ones that ever cracked the $1000 mark were the ones that had S/N 0000023 to match Jordan's Bulls number. Otherwise, they'd probably sell for between $200 -$400. What is the Serial Number? Only the first 5000 are considered to be the Limited Edition

I do remember coming across a site back in the first year or two of the Romeos release that was offering pretty big cash (memory tells me up to about $3k) for the Romeos. But it was on a sliding scale, and only on S/N below 100. There was a similar offer for the Mars.

I can do that with a Romeo by putting in red earsocks. Why is this special? Dun mean to flame. Just wanna have some answers...

They were the first X-Metals ever produced.

I have #992 still in my collection, I had 3 pairs once, wish I had all of them still! Hang on to them, definitely.
