I just saw my watchlist on ebay for a new pair of Oakley Judge Copper Polished ended at $380. Retails for more than $600.

I'm kicking myself for not remembering to bid on that item. Would $380 be a very good price at for a brand new pair?

I'd feel a whole lot better if someone can tell me truthfully that there are better prices than that.

I'd feel alot better if someone can tell me that there are better prices out there.

Sounds pretty reasonable to me... I would have been inclined to buy it. But still be careful

Not a bad price, for sure ... but there always seems to be a better deal somewhere, sometime.

I got my Blade watch for $180, thought that was a pretty fine steal of a deal.

I got mine for that much too(Blade).

If you really want to know prices of similar items that have sold on ebay, just look in the "Completed Listings" and you'll see what others have gone for.

Good luck.

be cautious on eBay when buying Oakleys. Please. I hear a few complaints here and there about the condition of the glasses were not disclosed and sellers say, "You didn't ask so its your problem" also there is a lot of fake bidding i guess just to drive up the price of items. i don't think there is an issue with Foakleys really, just issues with sellers not disclosing the condition of the glasses and/or making up the condition of the glasses, etc...

w/anything, be aware, do your homework, and you'll be ok. there are deals out there as my friend got a few oakleys at some really good prices but those auctions usually ended in the wee hours of the morn (3am). doesn't happen often but...

We all hunt for bargains, and those are some steals for sure.

Sometimes I think of a bargain as a certain percentage off retail, like at least 35% off if the item is new.

But then there are those bargains that WE think are bargains just because it would be a cool collection piece, or you've been wanting one for a while, etc.

I think a bargain is relative not only to the purchase, but to the purchaser.

Last year I scored a pair of Titanium/Gold Juliets for $25, and this year a Green Saddleback for $225. I considered each a bargiain, but in different ways. Does that make sense?

Everything in my collection was free. That's a pretty good deal.

On the other hand, if you consider the opportunity cost (the salary I'd make if I had a real job) they were pretty damn expensive...

I'd say $380 for a Judge is a very decent deal. Thing is, once you have something you like do you really care what you paid? I'm happy when a terrific deal falls into my lap, but for the most part, paying less than retail is only criteria when determining whether something is a bargain or not. I have this one buddy and he is always bragging about his deals. I told him I liked his suit one day and he yells "12 Bucks in China"!

$380 seems like an alright price for a Copper Judge. i would say i'm truly lucky to land most of the deals i got on most of my watches from Ebay. but like Rick says, it's worth it for something you truly love.

380 is a good deal for a Copper Judge, but there are better deals out there, keep your eye out.
