I bet they don't connect so that someone doesn't use them as a pair of glasses and then tries to get a warranty out of them when their lenses don't fit/fall out,

If you go back a couple pages on this thread you will see that graphic on a skate deck from the spectrum store.

The new packaging is only a test at the moment. Only about 10 stores are being used to test this new packaging right now to see how we'll it is received. There will only be 4 frame styles available with ten lense colors each.

It looks like typical crystal black in person, could be just the way it is rendered as an image.

IMHO crankcase is right in between gascans and fuel cell in size and width.

I think what is more interesting about that article is not so much the radar lock info but info for the new crosslink Rx frame geared for sports applications.

All of those, including one or two radar lock color ways have already hit spectrum o-store.

I doubt that the pricing will be marked up any higher than the standard $20 fee for custom. Just like the other eyewear there isn't a reason to add a mark up unless it is a limited edition of some sort.

if the stores have the lenses in stock they can sell them as replacement lenses too, not just for OCP sales.

If you look closely at the frame you will see they use the same method for changing icons as the dispatch 2.

I agree with Mike about the crumpler bags. They are extremely well built and last forever! I currently have two of them and use them for various photography excursions. I have acquired many Oakley bags over the years but my favorite still remains the Icon. I currently have two of them (both 1.0) and one has lasted me over 10 years with only one of the eyelets at the bottom having ripped off over time.

it isn't just an earpiece, it is also the name of the company. I was wondering how long it would take for this to happen. If you remember a similar thing happened with the Halo eyewear and Microsoft's IP with the game.

The addition of hyrdofuse technology to waterproof areas of the bags and redcode for extra comfort in the shoulder straps and backing help justify the price. This round of bags certainly has a lot of added detail for functionality.

I really like the idea for the changeable icons on the hat but right now they are too easy to pop out and I fear people will lose them too easily.

The water tank does not have to Octostick on it like the other water bottle but it does unscrew in the middle and collapses into itself for storage and cleaning

I agree! It is much better in person than on the website.

You can replace the lens but it won't just simply pop out. You need a T-4 Torx tool for the screw in the center of the frame to replace the lens.

I'll post more pics later next week but I wanted to show off these custom skateboards at the Spectrum Store. They were designed at Oakley and are all one of a kind!

You are reading this incorrectly. When you pull the crown out it stops all movement all together. If it were to keep time while the crown was out then you wouldn't be able to change the time if you needed to. This is mainly so that when the watch is stored before it is puchased the battery life will be preserved.

All of the OO lenses have a G40 base with a light grey polarized filter.

split jacket and wind jacket are the same frame, the only difference is the additional gasket around the frame and included strap.

the colorway will not be sold. There have been production issues with the FMJ chrome frame and it will not be produced.

also understand that the rubber gasket and leash will be sold as a separate accessory kit for those who already have the split jacket. that would be another reason for having limited options for the wind jacket.
