Finally got some time to check out the Madman and they look better than expected. Definitely a cool pair that says Oakley. Glad to see all the love this pair is getting here too!

I'm looking forward to seeing these in person and then I will decide if they're worth it. I'm happy to see Oakley releasing some cooler designs.

Some argue their not X-Metal, but Oakley has decided to take that inspiration and run with it in another direction, I guess it's all in the name of progress.

For what it worth, a lot of the naysayers don't have an issue with people calling the aluminum display pieces and cabinets X-Metal. But put it in a sunglass and call it X-Metal and well.....

It looks like I'm having the same issue with Oakley, sort of. I was browsing the Zappos.com site and I came across this, http://www.zappos.com/oakley-holbrook-matte-black-w-ice-iridium-polarized (it's a Matte Black with Ice "Holbrook"). For me Zappos has always been a great retailer for Oakley's, but when I saw this photo I had my doubts. So I emailed Zappos and informed them of the fake Oakley photos and was emailed back that it would be forwarded to the appropriate department, that was over two weeks ago. I also reported it to Oakley at the same time. I just hope they are not really selling that pair and it's just a photo issue.

I think the shoe is an Oakley Reason, but it's not a US release. Might be a Brazil release.

Hmm, a couple of things don't look quite right. First, the font on the Titanium lens etch doesn't look right. Two, I believe the nose pads should be a press fit not a screw.

That golf tin was on the Oakley website for a while, I think it was $15 or something like that. I don't think it sold well because you could get those items free with golf apparel. And the fact that divot tool is junk, it bends really easy.

Well, Disruptive By Design looks to be very promising. I hope they can follow through and make some new products that scream Oakley!

No these were full on retail Ichiro Radars with everything. I found my receipt and they even rang up with the correct SKU, 24-227. It's not the first time I have found a Japan only release in a US Vault store. I also found a Polarized Stussy Hijinx in a Vault. Although it has been pretty dry these past few years, there was also the Ai Miyazato Fast Jackets that are were just Vault stores and on the 6pm.com.

Yes, Dann. They were complete sets and they were $99 each. It was an incredible deal.

Actually, I know some of those Ichiro's made it over here at the Vault stores. I found a Silver with Black Text model here and the sales guy told me I missed out the Blue Frost with Text one's by a week. They had four or five pairs of each.
