Hey Fellow O'ers!

I was just surfing Oakley the other day and I saw some of the designs made by Andrew Petterson. And I really fell in love with the designs he made on the frogskins.

My problem; I live in Europe and I cant seem to find any of these at all. I have no idea if they even exist anymore. Can someone tell me IF they can be bought anywhere or any info at all?

Your best best is to keep watching eBay. And do the searching on different eBay websites (like .com .nl .de .co.uk etc.), that will turn up with different results sometimes.
Even though they are hard to find these days.

Jules got it right. There're all gone from the stores and eBay's your best bet. There was a seller unloading half a dozen or so not too long ago.

Yeah, with there only being 50 pairs made and each one being unique ... the secondary market (ebay) is about your only chance. That lot sold recently on ebay was pretty shocking ... think that guy stated he had about 13 of the 50.

The Frogskins is a dangerous path to go down ... your wallet begs you to turn around - turn around now! ;)

Quite a few pairs were sold in Southern California. My main problem wasn't purchasing them, my main issue was the MSRP. =|

Not only was it shocking how much he had, but it was shocking how much they went for. Some just went for what it sold at retail.

Yup....they didn't pull nearly all that much, surprised.

Must have been poor marketing. As possibly annoying as it is, something like the Petterson would probably have to be peppered with 'rare, blends, limited, LE' verbiage crap on the auction title to garnish the attention and dollars. Doubtful there are too many 'Petterson' searches being done.

Some just went for what it sold at retail.

Meanwhile I had inquired about one of the pair he listed owning that had yet to be listed and he wanted the batter half of $900 for it and a Gentei Frog.

Seems kinda high, but they don't come around too often. You should pick it up before they're gone.

Did you get those Pettersons for $549? If not, then I would be interested in picking them up. Do tell....

I haven't picked them up yet. A bit shot on funds because I still need to sell a lot of the glasses I got from the ex. Oakley agent. I was actually planning on getting them when I have some more funds again. But maybe I can also make a nice project of giving some froggies a weared look maybe, would also be cool.

wow!! $549, they have got to be worth like $6995.00 on ebay. That is a STEAL!

I dunno, it seems like you are paying quite a premium for some shoddy QC. LOL I noticed last time I wore one of my Petterson that some of the finish is rubbing off on the inside near the end of the earstem. Ah well, the curse of treating my stuff like rubbish. ;)

Who knows. Blends are pulling $6999 on ebay and the fades have been noted to have some problems. Seems quite high to me too, but someone is selling them...Or I mean someone is buying them.
