did anyone else see this on ebay, i thought the colour looked pretty well done and was going to take a shot, but decided to play safe

anyone else got any view, im guessing because of the low end price not alot of people believed the listing or if it is genuine, ive just missed out on a potentially rare frame!

Pretty cool, but as with any prototype or early designs, its always hard to say if its legit or not, it looks like it to me but who can be sure...

the frame looked totally legit, but the lens looked iffy...

yeh to be honest the lense would have been changed but the frame was the main focus, bet hey its gone now so can only dream!

Looks like a Splatter Grey to me...

I can tell you of a HUGE mistake that I made, though:

A few years ago a seller on eBay listed a couple "Splatter" M Frames that were not any of the four typical colorways (Pink, Grey, Yellow, Purple). I won them and after receiving them in the mail noticed the name "Jim Rosa" handpainted on the frames. Not knowing who "Jim Rosa" was, I thought they were just handpainted by "someone" and did not consider them to be 100% authentic. I sent them back to the seller for a full refund, but later learned that Jim Rosa actually did all the Splatter frames for Oakley... WHOOPS. :(

DOH!!!

Looks like a legit Heater lens to me.
