I could never get into Legion, the character and the show

I mainly got it since it was the prelude to Age of Apocalypse and sort of bridges the events after Phalanx Covenant. Still haven't made it past episode 2 of the show.

Dann what did you pay for the Carnage omnibus? Or should I say what's it supposed to retail for?

AoA is my favorite X-men story line. If and when MCU ever gets back the X-men, I believe they can do that story line justice

Would be a great standalone feature. I liked how it was all encompasing, but still manageable to follow the story across the books. They did add Blink to the X-Men Cinematic Universe already too.

I miss that era

To the comics enthusiasts : I wish I had a very good knowledge of comics from golden age to now, but I really don't. I kind if like it from far and will enjoy any reference to them.
I remembered recently that when I was a kid, there was a sale in a store and I could buy 15 or 20 comics for almost nothing. They are now gone but I remember that I had one with Orion fighting Darkseid and I really liked it.

Enough story background.
I saw this Omnibus in my Amazon "selected for you" and was wondering if anybody would have any input on this ?

I haven’t read that particular story, but the lead writer - Geoff Johns - is very good. He is probably my second favourite writer in DC’s stable.

If you are into Orion, Darkseid and the New Gods, the Orion Omnibus is said to be good. They are older stories so they don’t have the production value like today’s artwork, but other readers seem to like it:
