I'm staying in Laguna Beach for a week with my aunt and was thinking about making the short trip to Oakley HQ. I assume there are no tours, but are you free to wonder the lobby and take pictures? Is there a store in there?

Yes, you can roam the lobby, there is also a store and warranty center open to the public. Enjoy!!

Check out the "Museum" between to Men's and Women's stores. It was just re-done since the Co-Pilot trip and it's cool . Wait until you see the sick one of a kind prototype colors and wicked movie props.

Don't know why economic reasons would close the museum. It's no like it has a permanent guide or anything and it's just anchored between the two stores that keep normal hours. Hmm. Though is was closed for a bit to re-set it.

Yeah, he and our own resident superstar Mark Jackson spent a day or 2 re-outfitting the cabinets, making arrangements, and just giving it a fresh new update. My son and I spent all of an hour (haha, not much) removing all the old locks and installing all new ones that actually work. Yeah, imagine those pieces in those towers with locks that didn't lock??? Crazy to think it, but many just didn't work...The next time I am by, I will remember to take my camera and snap some pix of the new layouts...Pretty sick for sure.
