can someone add Starship Troopers to the movies list? i was watching it just now and i'm sure the class were wearing an older generation (by today's standards) black M-Frames with clear Strike lenses in the insect dissection class.

I was always under the impression that all serials in the X-Metal/Ruby line were limited edition. Guess I was wrong.

Oakley tends to do that with their serial #s. For example, the Carbon/24k iridium Juliets with serial numbers JC000001-JC000050 (or is it 500?) are considered the "limited edition" versions (that were given to the Corvette race team) and the rest were regular editions. I'm sure the same thing happend with the Ducati Juliets as well.

OK I get it. With those Carbon/24K Juliets, I wonder why they never put them on the website. I'm sure they would sell.

Ah that's why I have them recorded as the same as Carbon/Black.

Yeah, I'm sure he would like it here. Plus he could add his movie info to this database to make it more complete.

I'm a natural procrastinator. Some say lazy as hell as well. I'm sure I'll get to posting my lineup one day, though.

does mini series counts too?

cos recently i've watched a mini series from stephen king's Kingdom Hospital, one of the main character wears a pair of Oakley Rx straight line 2.0 or 4.0(not sure). it's unmistakeable, but the place where the O logo are supposed to be on the hinges were taken out and they're just holes there.

wierd film btw, only managed to watch the first two episodes before finally got sick of it.

Does anyone remembers when Ben Stiller did a skit about being Tom Cruises stunt double during the MTV Movie Awards? He was understudying Tom for MI-2, mimicing Tom head to toe. He even had a pair of black Fives he wore in small interview sequences but had the blacked out with marker. I just think they do that so they aren't advertising for any specific company that isn't helping them out in one way or another.

On sitcoms, Growing Pains for example, the would have a paper label around soda cans to hide what it was. Or the Nike logo taken off of shoes.

The backpacks the Precrime team in Minority Report were suppose to be Oakleys as well. I didn't catch any Oakley logos in the movie myself, but I saw them on a prop that was shown in late September.

Here are pics of the backpacks:

That M:i-2 piss take is called 'Mission Improbable' (I think?) and its a special feature on the M:i-2 DVD.

It is bloody hilarious (Stiller is gold when he is doing Cruise from 'Cocktail') and is the only reason I would get the DVD because the movie is balls (except for the scene with the Romeo).

Saw Hitch today. Will Smith wears a Why 8.1 (could be an 8, though....will have to take a look again when it comes on DVD) during the scene where his jet ski breaks down.
