Just got me 36 pieces of American Optical shades for my new store.
But don't worry, I won't dare to wear them. I'll stay with the O ;-)

Finally got Sideswipe in place on the top shelf with Optimus and King Grimlock. I need a better/bigger case so I can do more spaced-out poses.

Awesome display shelf! I didn't realize Sideswipe was that much smaller than Grimlock and OP.

Dann, I applaud your affinity for snakes, but as a native S FL resident, I can definitely say that I understand the need for the laws...not everyone is as responsible as you with their pets, hence the issues. When you see 18 foot snakes devouring key deer whole, it can get a bit itchy! No offense I hope, but I'm waiting for the day that the state puts a bounty on constrictors in the Glades so that the big buggars are worth more than just their skins!

No offense taken. I do see the need for Florida specific laws, as that's the one place in the country where the Burms can survive, and even that's only in the most southern regions. Everywhere else in the country they will die during the winter. Even keeping them indoors during the winter is dodgy, with a constant need for belly heat and proper humidity.

That said, while there's undeniably a presence in the glades, programs like Animal Planet have been blowing the situation out of proportion. The problem was not due to pet owners (but I do agree that most cannot handle it), but rather the hurricane that destroyed the import facilities and released the volume needed for the species to take hold. They don't breed too well over here and the likelihood of both the clutch hatching and the offspring surviving to adulthood, is rather limited. The chance of pet owners releasing one, and somehow finding another to breed with, and the cycle blowing up is slim. Only the volume of the damaged facility even gave that a chance.

Guess my only issue is with the laws, and how short sited they are. Rhode Island was going to ban all constricting snakes which included the ones that only grow to 2 feet or so. Their reasoning was the Everglade situation and the Ohio breakout. If they followed the two rules basic to most pet ownership (non native, and not able to survive in the wild), then there really wouldn't be an issue.

Yea, he's supposed to be somewhat to scale relative to MP-10 Optimus so that Sideswipe could fit inside his trailer. My Optimus is the original release mold which is bigger than MP-10, so Sideswipe looks even smaller standing next to my Optimus.

MP-10 Optimus is the same size Grimlock, which is the same as Rodimus, Starscream (original mold at least), and all their variants. The original mold Optimus (and his variant Ultra Magnus) and Megatron are the biggest figures. I expect, and hope, the future Soundwave will probably be the same size as MP-10 Optimus.

Just seen an older prototype pic that indeed has Masterpiece Soundwave as being the same height as MP-10 as well as MP-11 Starscream:

Nice! It's too bad Soundwave has been delayed a month into Jan instead of Dec. I can't wait to put him on the shelf next to my Megatron. After Soundwave's little buddies get released I'll officially be out of display case space, so I hope Takara takes a little break to give me time to get a new display case, haha. They have never released this many different new molds so close to each other.

I don't know if MP-17 has been announced yet, but I wouldn't mind if it turned out to be Galvatron. I mean, there's an OP and Megatron pairing, so it only makes sense if Rodimus has Galvatron to pair up with.

I haven't heard of a MP-17 yet either, Galvatron would be awesome though! That would be so far from the norm though, Takara is due to start milking some old stuff. That's been their pattern for years. Release a new mold/style, then milk it for as much as they possibly can.

An Ultra Magnus MP-10 variant, or an easy remold of Megatron to match the smaller MP-10 Optimus wouldn't surprise me. I would be very surprised if MP-17 turns out to be a completely brand new character mold, especially somebody as high profile as Galvatron would be. Sometime in the future though, Galvatron makes sense, 2013 would be earlier than I would expect it though.

If they can ever get the licensing from VW, a Bumblebee would be released quick. Supposedly VW wants nothing to do with Transformers though, which is a shame.

It's true they love to milk their molds, and I'm definitely pushing my luck asking for a new figure, but they've been doing pretty well from MP-12 onward. We got new figures such as Soundwave, Sideswipe, Laserbeak, Rumble, and Ravage; only Red Alert, Buzzsaw and Frenzy are redecos. Fingers crossed they continue that trend, but you're probably right...MP-17 will likely be a rehash of a previous figure.

Yea I hope I'm wrong. I was happy to get Sideswipe, but when I heard that Soundwave was to follow just a few months after I was like whaaaaaaattt!? Did somebody new take over the Masterpiece line? haha. We can only hope that maybe they're changing their ways and figured it's best to put more time into new molds to keep the excitement in the brand going.

Not that impressive and not that expensive (in the DSLR world).
I wish I could afford a nice Lambo and a Nikon D4S, but for now, I'll proudly ride my green japanese car for another 170.000 kilometers (if it can) and take photos with my mid-end camera set-up.
Anyway, believe it or not, but the only pics I've sold, up to now, were taken with a 200 euros camera. So I presume that the price you can put in photo stuff won't necessary guarantee great photos, and reciprocally ...
