Those are all pretty much a dime a dozen these days, eh? At least you don't have to drop $500+ to get any of them.

I'm still holding on to a BNIB Chantry Hijinx for that one special day where I can help someone that just can't source one out. I still remember ordering 2 pairs from an Oregon surf shop with the assumption that the artist series stuff would be hard to come by for folks and that I could pass the extra pair on to someone in need.

Fail.

So true, I made a rash decision to purchase a Chantry for double-retail because I was sure they would be extinct days after their release. How foolhardy was that?

Actually, I'm thinking the Koopman may be the hardest score. I can't find one anywhere right now.

Did I mention that the Park City Vault had DE Koopmans for $69? They had several. My (ex)wife didn't dig on them, and I never got into the artist series. I should've picked them all up, but they were fairly plentiful at the time. This was only a few months ago, too...

not too sure if this link works, but it brings you to the oakley artist series page on their website, with only a small footnote abt the new artist series. all it says it's by Robert Williams, release date Spring 2011.

waiting anxiously...

Ok, need some help here. A friend of mine is looking to surprise her husband with a pair of Flores glasses. Problem is she doesnt know how to get them other than the wicked high priced ones on the bay. I told her I would look around and let her know. So if anyone has any ideas, please let me know via PM, as to not clutter this thread. She does not care on color, but prefers the blue as the price may be more affordable. Thanks again for the help.

In addition to the blue being a bit "cheaper", the Brown are Asian fit, so that may play a factor in choice. I wish I had something other than, "Go Fish" to offer as advice.

Closed a deal on the Pimple Hijinx, so I am down to four left + the Robert Williams to be released.

Side note: Anyone got any info on the Robert Williams or seen any sneak photos of it. I'm super excited about it for some reason.

Ya, I had a deal with bigfrogface for those very Pettersons you got. At the last minute I had to pay registration on my car so it fell through. You just cant fight it if its not meant to be. I have some good artist series stuff that I was lucky enough to get my hands on so I cant complain. Its all part of collecting! forehead slap.....!lol

I just saw one sell on eBay but I was at an Oakley vault here in so cal that had one. I will give them a call and see if they still have it. It was a few weeks ago though. It was a good deal too but I didn't pick it up cause I have them already. I should have known to pick them up....

sucks to hear abt your tough luck nicholas. actually there were 2 pettersons for sale, but not long after i snapped the #16 up, the other was gone. i'm sure another pair will pop up soon, somewhere, somehow. patience is key i suppose. =)
