I'm thinking of purchasing a rep case (for 6 pairs), but I'm not sure if my Juliet will fit in. Can somebody help me out?
Oh! Is 90 bucks a right price for a case like this?
Thanks!

If I'm thinking of the same case you are, Juliets won't fit in one slot. They take up about 1.5 slots,so you might 3 or 4 in there but not six.

$90 is very steep for it. I mean, they don't show up as often as they used to, but if you're patient, you should be able to eventually get one for $60.

There are many, many different versions of the Rep cases. They are different sizes and made from different materials. This due to the many different sizes and styles that reps had thru the years and their were typically 5-7 to a suitcase. It really depends on which one you have. Your best bet is to buy one and have the foam cut to fit what you are using it for.

I was thinking of cutting foam, but I don't know how to do that.

Do a little research - there are plenty of places around that will do it professionally for you, It's actually not that expensive from what I hear.

I would suggest getting a whole new insert cut for it rather than chop up the original. This way you have more versatility...Just a suggestion.

Hi,

I've managed to get hold of a Xmetal Briefcase-like reps case. Full xmetal with foam inside. Anyone seen or heard of these?

Are you referring to the attache cases?

Yeah, they're rare relatively speaking. I think it's made of aluminum.

This made me happy to hear. Mostly the part that you "use em a lot". Great to hear them being utilized!

I'd love to use one of those puppies for my photo portfolio. Or laptop.

I've never really found a use for it but it does compliment the collection well. That and it doesn't really show dust that much.

I've always thought the rep attache as a laptop case is an interesting idea. It needs a sholder strap and be a tiny bit smaller, but it'd definitely be a cool thing to carry around.

how much does that weigh? it looks like it weighs 20 pounds but that aluminum is always deceiving.
