I picked up a set of Square O Wardens the other day. First off...I think I like these MORE than my Crosshairs. Nonetheless, I did have a question. I thought ALL Wardens came with the OAKLEY name across the top of the nose bridge. These didn't and I have found one or two more without it...what's the story?

Stretchline ones have it but I didn't know Square O do.

They could have been using assembled orbitals leftover from older runs and eventually retooled the bridge for newer runs. FYI, I like them more than X-Hairs too. Glad you like them.

Saw a few Square O Wardens this weekend, and you're right, David. They don't come with the etching across the bridge on the Square Os. I think they just wanted to get rid of the Stretchline stretch logo altogether for the Square O line. The Square O versions definitely don't have as much personality as it's Stretchline counterparts.

Same thing as the Montefrio. Stretchline pairs had "Oakley" written on the side. Newer ones have only the bloc O.

I don't have a preference for the Square O logo or the Stretchline logo on the Warden's earstems. They both look good. I just wish they had kept the "Oakley" etching at the top of the bridge. That was one of the more unique aspects of the pair and made it stand out from some of the other mundane aviator-style offerings. Oh well.
