A certain Swiss member sent me a PM offering to sell me something at a certain price. I immediately accepted his offer and asked for his paypal details so I could send payment. Then seven days later he sent me another PM telling me that the price he had offered me was no longer valid and he wanted nearly triple what he'd originally asked for because he thought he could get that much on ebay! I asked him to honour his word and sell to me at the price he first asked. He hasn't bothered to reply. I somehow doubt I'll ever be doing business with such a shark and would recommend all members think twice before dealing with somebody who is so happy to go back on his word and jack the agreed price of a deal up by nearly 200%.

I guess everyone has his price. And for some a word is not worth much.

Only for one particular member who is notorious for this! His word is worthless...

I've been dealing with Jason (Huneymonkey) for a couple of years and have always found him to be superb. But I do notice that whoever helps him do his listings sometimes makes mistakes. One time he was listing rare square wire 2.0 as having an o-luminum frame until I pointed out that would make them more than just rare! If you look now he's got Monster Dog Stealth with grey lenses for $115 but Monster Dog Stealth with Ice Iridium lenses (i.e. unreleased lenses for the Monster Dogs) for $101!

Yeah... I was thinking that Jason (Huneymunkey) was overpricing shipping rates until I got the items delivered at my door 3 days after he shipped them!

I usually pay 28-36 USD for USPS EMS (takes 7 days to get to My country and another 3 days to get to my island hehehe and its noyt door to door..) Hes shipped them thru Fedex charged 45 for 2 oakleys and i got them on my door after 3 days! =P

it seems as if some of the crazy bidding on the Brown Juliets between members has caused the price to nearly double...Scary!! Looks like some control prices more than they think...good thing I don't want one...could only imagine what a dark chrome would do now!

I noticed that too. At the Moment Total-O has a brown juliet for almost $2,000. Thats rediculous.

I suspect there is still quite a large unsold stock which is now beeing released slowly so as not to deflate prices.

I hear ya. For me, I'd pay many thousands of dollars for the original, screen used with COA Juliet from the first X-men movie, so while I hate the idea of Oakleys going for over $1k, there's one pair of sunglasses I'd go absolutely price crazy with.

I could be wrong, but actually I'm sure I'm not. When my vault opened, they had both a Vault pair of brown Juliets and Ichiro models. I wish I would have picked up the brown pair...they're sweet.

As for members, have you ever thought of a feedback additive in the classifieds section. On my VW board (notice the name!) we have a feedback listing that let's happy, or angry, buyers and sellers lash out.
