Definitely something wrong with that auction (that and the $90k NWC Gold cart on auction right now). There was a recent grey NWC cart that went for $17.5k and a Gold one that didn't sell for $27k in late December, so it certainly makes these new auctions seem a little suspicious.
I have seen grey carts go for a few thousand but never that much. Gold is another story though. I doubt anyone is actually going to pay that auction, expecially since that condition of that grey lable is crap.
Played about half hour of the TF beta and have some notes:
1) Wow am I ever a shitty gamer. No FPS skill whatsoever.
2) the beta is no place for a beginner who doesn't play Call of Duty. All levels are mixed in together. I hope the final release groups the low level players together and the high level players put I another group to make it more competitive, much like how Street Fighter does it.
3) they really needed a single player campaign mode. I prefer to play offline, so an exclusively online game is very different for me.
4) the beta servers couldn't handle the load. I was constantly acquiring/re-acquiring connection to the servers.
5) it is a fun game overall. The best part was the Last Titan Standing option.
Lol I just recently downloaded Contra Evolution. EXACTLY the same game as the original classic with updated visuals. Controls need time to get used to, though.
Coincidentally enough, I recently found my copy of Super Contra (technically "Super C"). One of my favourite NES games. Now to find where I put the actual NES so that I can play the game.....
