Wow Mark - 91 pair... That is awesome! Great to hear everyone's feedback. I am a big fan of the Humidor as well and have (thanks to a fellow member) recently had the opportunity to experience both the low and high version of the Shoe One - which I am really enjoying.
I still think the older shoes were made a lot tougher than the new ones, but I can't say I have ever had a problem with any of them.
I did finally land a pair of the Italian leather sandals a couple of years ago - and finally wore them last summer. I can't say they have been very comfortable but they may just need more break in.
I'm open to hearing any survival or adventure stories/pics regarding the shoes. I'll share some too.
Theres not a specific button for making a wanted add in the classifieds but most people just put WTB in front of the item name, I suggest you do the same and will delete this later.
Dann: maybe there could be a wanted button that would make a box in a different color then the selling ones ?
I dont know if there still would be a fee or not ?
The black teeth lows are still available at the Rolling O store which goes to all the NHRA national events. You can probably get ahold of them through corporate or look them up on myspace. If all else fails I can probably get you in touch with those guys.
I will be going to the finals in a few weeks in Pomona, so I will check with Donnie & Holly and see what I can grab. My daughter's old t-ball coache's sister-in-law also works the rolling-o, so I will have them ask her to take a look too...Thanks bro, that was good info...
From what Donnie and Hollie have told me the past couple years, the teeth low are only available at the Rolling O Store. A lot of the crew guys wear them - which is really how I got into the Oakley thing in the first place. Donnie & Hollie are good people!
Jamie, I absolutely agree with you about the Rolling-O crew, they are totally cool people. I got to meet them last January in CA.
I have a couple of pairs of Smoke Ring sandals, and when I'm not working, I practically live in them, I also have a pair of the new style 6" SI Boots that I had to have special ordered. The only reason I don't have more Oakley footwear is because they don't offer most shoes over 14, and I wear a 15...
