Francois, focus on things you appreciate, and I'm sure we'll be just fine.

Hey, can you enlighten me on those settings you were talking about earlier...I was trying to remember but I'm brain dead lately...I'm still getting use to this new camera too but I'm lovin it.

Looking good Andy. It's amazing that is just a sticker. You'd never know it otherwise.

Judging from these great shots that have been put on here, I would encourage you O-tographers to post some of these on the "Hi Res" page. I was browsing the other day and saw that all the hi res stuff was lost with the rest of the images. I'm not sure if the hosts are ok with that, but it looks like the framework of the page is still good. Let's give a little love to one of my favorite pages. My desktop will thank you.

Nice work Andy.. it's always a lot of fun experimenting with a new camera. Keep em coming.

Reminds me, I need to get myself a decent D-SLR with a proper macro lens.

I remember someone, I think it was O-Xide, had a bunch of really awesome pics of a whole bunch of Bob keychains, does anyone know if those pics are still up anywhere on the site?

Probably not on the site, but maybe in one of my backups or the old server which is still around. I could check at some point.

That would be great, thanks Dann! I just got a new credit card that I can pick the image on, and I'd like to do something O-related, but they won't allow copyrighted images (obviously), so I figured I'd go with a pic of the Bob keychains!

You guys all take GREAT photos. I am new to trying to take good pics. I just picked up a Canon SX10 IS. It has 20x optical zoom. I know it does not compare to the gear some of you guys have , but it seems to be alright for a beginner such as myself. Anyways....here are a few different pics.

I have a bunch of pics of my dog, but can't figure out how to get them in here.
I know lighting is a HUGE part in good pics, so I need a good flash.
Any pointers/advise on the pics would be cool.
Thanks
