HQ is immune - this is bad but surely cannot penetrate such a fortress....

Everyone should visit red.com for the full sized image posted earlier shot by Jim...Freakin' amazing color and it really gives you perspective as to what the seriousness really is with this fire!

This is terrible!
Not only HQ (which is obviously a great architectonic icon), but all other homes and businesses that are ruined and even lives that are being lost.
To all those in that area: be safe!!

I hope that the fire will leave the least damages as possible, not so much for materials things than for lives.

A very good friend of mine Mark had been stationed at the Foothill Ranch Fire Station till only recently, he's now been promoted Fire Chief at another station. (He's in Photo in front of HQ in my Gallery)

I can't imagine the pressure he's currently under in controlling his fighters, and helping to save Homes and Lives.
I wish all by best to the Fighters and my Sympathy too the individuals whom have lost their homes

Perhaps the Mad Scientist will see these events as an opportunity to channel the heat from the wild flames into his production, and bake us all a new iridium color.

Seriously though, it's hard to find optimism in all of this, except that people are safe.

Absolutely! 100% with you. All the material stuff is replaceable...life's are not...

So far so good at HQ. The fire stayed across the street and hasn't jumped. Glad to have heard that all is safe and there have been no losses for Oakley directly. I just hope the employees have all been safe since many live in or around areas of the fire's path.

As Josh just said..... All is good at HQ as of this point. Just spoke to someone there and it looks pretty right now.... Thank God... As far as my contact knows, he does'nt think (TO HIS KNOWLEDGE) that any of the employees had any losses........ Thoughts and Prayers.......
