JP, there is a Best Buy Steelbook version for John Wick 3, but Walmart also has an exclusive that comes with an Adjudicator Coin:

Some interesting stuff in the world of movies today.

Matrix 4 is a go:

Sony/Disney couldn’t come to terms, so Spidey may no longer be part of the MCU:

I’m hoping they get back to the bargaining table. It’s hard to see them give up already. There is so much difference in what each side is asking for that it’s ridiculous for the executives to give up already without trying to close the gap.

Still, I think Sony will do well. Tom Holland is great as Spidey and Jon Watts seems to understand the character, so that is enough for me to look forward to the next movie even if it won’t have the charm of the MCU.

Tom Holland is my favorite Spidey. Just my opinion:)

The Matrix trilogy - well former trilogy - is one of my favorite, not sure what to think about a fourth film.

I still can't believe they let Sony have this much control over Spidey in the first place.

I am super into this! I've always loved the Alien franchise despite its numerous missteps and disappointments. Revisiting these classics are always fun, especially the behind the scenes stuff.

Not sure if it has been mentioned but Alita, Battle Angel was a excellent flic and if ya missed it in IMAX you definitely missed out. At the very least worth the viewing.

Not sure if I’m excited about Terminator: Dark Fate, but the new trailer isn’t bad:

So is my understanding correct that they are ignoring every sequel after Terminator 2?

Yeah, I'm so out of the loop on the Terminator movies. I'm not sure what's going on anymore.

Yes, everything is ignored after T2. It’s mostly a result of James Cameron regaining creative control of the franchise. So he’s ignoring (or at least re-conning) all movies he wasn’t involved in.

John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum is insane. Bonkers from start to finish. Comparable to any top level Asian action movie, and that’s quite a compliment. I usually get bored during movies that are basically vehicles for action scenes, but all stunts in the movie are very creative and keeps it fresh in every scene. Very slick choreography. They even made Halle Berry fun to watch. I remember her action scenes in that one James Bond movie and X-men movies, and she always seems stiff when doing fight scenes, but she was fantastic here.

Other than seeing Taskmaster in action, I don’t have any expectations of Marvel Studios’ Black Widow movie. Spy movies are always a bit cliche at this point, but the teaser trailer does look good:
