Not really a trick to it. They go in from the back, unlike other glasses. Put the top of the lens in first, and then align the 'teeth' of the lens with the 'bump' on the bottom and push the bottom over the lil 'bump'. Voila!

Getting the other lenses out, is a pain and you have 2 options:

#1. screw up the frame while trying to save the lenses

or

#2. screw up the lens while trying to save the frame from damage

There is no good way to cut the Switch lenses after you have taken the old ones out...so either use the 'outline' that is floating around, or trial and error until they fit...

I think they look even more industrial. The texture is like the Aliens helmet in predator, very cool.

ok Ollie18..einfach einzigartig..
wie hart die korrosion am frame schon frotgeschritten ist/war..ganz schön faszinierend..wie willst du der weiterhin fortschreitenden "natürlichen verwitterung" entgegenwirken?

Ollie, I really like what you did with the frame. Did you get new rubbers for the Switch or just clean up the old ones? If they are new, did you get them thru Oakley?

I cleaned off and reused the rubbers...called O prior and they said not available unless send in. Which was no option for me.

Would have loved to see their reaction if they had received it.

It probably never had made it back to me...LOL...they either would have 1.snagged it for whatever reason, or 2. tossed it because they thought it was some kind of prank..

LOL

It definitely is a neat pair to look at. Have not worn it at all.

They're not allowed to snag them. Employees are checked upon exit to see if they've taken anything from warranty. My bet is they would be scrapped and you would have been offered an M Frame array as compensation.

I called the warranty dept and was told that they no longer have the rubbers available, but if I sent in my Mag Switch, they would basically keep it and offer me an $80 credit towards x-metals. Doesn't sound like the thing to do.....

Not unless you buy one for $70 at a vault, swap the unobtainium, send it in and make $10 profit towards and X-metal.

if anyone finds them at a vault, please let me know...I am after a pair or 2...Or a destroyed one (finish, not metal) would be a cool one.
