An error that was caught and changed. As far as the flack for the price goes...guess you're right. Someone has always got something to say. I suppose if i were to give them away, I'd get flack for not having enough to go around. Guess the old saying "Don't like it, don't buy it" doesn't hold much water here. edit no selling in the forum edit Otherwise...sorry I couldn't help you guys out more. Thanks anyway.

"Don't like it, don't buy it"
I'm sorry, but I have to agree with waaasp. For what he got it, and for what he sells it is totally up to him. If he has something you want, he sets the rules/price. Don't like it...tuff shit. To give the person shit about it is equally as retarded as some of you feel about the price tag he put on it. I'm interested in them, do I buy them...no. But I do not come in here and blast him for that. Grow up folks!

Sooo...who has some stuff they got for free they want to sell me for $0 usd? *long pause*...I didn't think so...

I think one of the issue here, is just that we got rid of scalpers a long time ago and dont want the same behavior again.

Behavior? Eric - with all due respect...It's called collecting. You acuire items at a price, and sell them at a different price when you feel like the time has come. It's part of it. I believe in the market settin the price, and if someone is willing to pay the asking price for an item...Be my guest. If the expectation is different herethen I guess I will not be able to get on the same page...

A 1922 Plain (Penny) is worth to a collector about $1500usd, should I sell it for $0.01 cuz it is the face value? Or should I sell it only for $300 as this is what I paid? Or should I sell it at the price that people are willing to pay for it? No brainer to me...

Here?...No.
HAHA - riight...I guess something needs to be put in the rules then...As of now no rules are being broken...Also, who will volunteer to be the price police on here? Let's go thru the classifieds and make sure all prices are what 'we feel' they are supposed to be...and not what the owner feels like he should be putting on it...

I agree to disagree...

Whatever, man. All I'm saying is that if you want to do that kind of sh*t, take it to eBay. IMO, the classifieds section here should be scrapped. Then all of this would be avoided.

That (ebay) won't solve the issue either, it is just another stage. Regardless which way this will go, people will always complain...be the cause funds, jealousy, the need to flame, or whatever...

As of now no rules are being broken...
No one said any rules were being broken. Someone just commented that they felt it was wrong. They are entitled to that opinion just as you are entitled to think its ok. You were not around for the group of people that were here just to take advantage of members, it sucked. Some people are just worried about it happening again.

Personally I think if someone is nice enough to hook you up with something for free and you immediately turn around and try to make money off of it says a lot about your personality. BUT just because I feel that way dose not mean any rules have been broken. I know that if I hooked someone up and then they immediately sold them for a profit I would be pissed!

I think the the classified section should be scraped as well. Leave the re-selling on eBay.
