I can honestly say, everybody I have ever encountered at HQ are TOP NOTCH!!! I have never had a dull or less than pleasant experience there. I am still amazed at how professional the people there are, and how willing to accomodate you while you are visiting. Post away for anyone who has had similar or better experiences there! You guys that are here, you all know who you are, YOU ROCK!!!!!!!

My only HQ experience was equally wonderful. I had actually brought a few pairs along with me for warranty reasons. One was a straight jacket with what looked like a slight crack. The HQ guy that was showing me around took a look at it, said something along the lines of "this isn't right", snapped it in half and said I would need a new frame. He then went on to offer me any available (including FMJ) colorway I wanted. This was back in 99' or so - and I assume they continue to treat people well.

My other main memory of my trip was that "no worries" seemed to be the phrase everyone used down there.

My tour through HQ reminded me of walking through the "cool hallway" in High School - only this time I was one of the cool kids.

i had an awesome time at HQ, twice. first time i was alone so nut i had a great time walking around the area anyway. the second time i met with a bunch of amazing people there and it was one of the most memorable experiences in my life... holds a special place in my heart.
and yeah, the staff there are great people as well. i bought in my Crush 2.0 for servicing at the walk-in customer service and chatted with the guys there for quite a long time.

That second time sure was a blast, Bong. So was my first time seeing it with Dann. So much money spent both trips though. I hope every trip I take out there is just as great.

My first time at HQ I was treated like crap. The receptionist lady was real mean and then the people in the O store were jerks. I was almost to the point of boycotting and then gave them another chance. My next couple visits were all good. I must say I have never ever had a problem with walk in warranty CS there. They are awesome!

Twice in my life I've found myself with my mouth wide open by impression. Once when visiting St. Peter in Rome and once when reaching the top of the hill to see Oakley HQ.

I can't speak about the BBQ, but I did have a really good veggie burger in the cafeteria.

HQ is unlike anything else....unless you try to buy clothes or shoes....in which they don't have your size in either....which to me is odd.....

And not just my sizes...the wife too....

Other than that - it's just a sick place that makes me giddy....which I have never been in my life except for there....

this was the first time i ever saw HQ, like around 12:45 in the morning...

it was breathtaking, espeically seeing it for the first time at night. this particular image is permanently ingrained in my head.

i was lost in Foothill Ranch, driving around the neighborhood for about an hour before i actually found Ellipse, i felt stupid as i passed by the street a dozen times. of course i was hopelessly lost again the next morning as everything looks different during the day.

heh... Fred, renting a car with navigation is EXPENSIVE. besides, it would've cut into my Oakley spending budget. but for the next time, i won't need any navigation because i know how to get there... well, at least a better idea of how to get there than the first time. that darn Portola Parkway got me confused.

That's why you need Cingular! TeleNav is only $10 a month with your Cingular service, and can be used on any PDA, Smartphone as well as many of the fine handsets we offer. You'll want to have an unlimited MEdia/Internet access plan too, but at a $40 per month maximum, you'll still be saving tons on those "other" GPS services!

Visit your local Cingular store today and sign up now!

Oh yea...hope to go to HQ soon.
=)
