With 1 day left to the deadline, the Unicron crowd-funding campaign hits its target. Looking forward to seeing it in 2021.

Part 2 (Earthrise) of Netflix’s Transformers: War for Cybertron trilogy was released today. What a wonderful series for those into the original G1 Transformers. I enjoyed Earthrise even more than the first part, Seige. Like Machinima‘s Transformers: Prime Wars Trilogy that preceded this series, Megatron really is the standout character. Fantastic stuff.

Both toy lines being under the Hasbro banner, there of course needs to be a Transformers/X-men crossover. The result is ugly as sin and such a waste....so of course I had to put in a pre-order:

Genius crossover.

Ha! I'm currently re-watching the X-Men animated series!

I do LOVE the SR-71 and Wolverine. So is this a must-have?

No, I wouldn’t call it a must have at all, but it is a fun and unexpected crossover. If you like both brands, then go for it; if not, it’s not a big miss. I skipped out on the recent TF crossovers with Ghostbusters, Top Gun and BttF (as well as missing the previous x-overs with Star Wars and Marvel), but was compelled on this one for some reason.

Yeah I hear ya. Sometimes certain things just call out to you! That's the way I was almost feeling with the BttF TF crossover. Although I didn't go for it. It's still available for pre-order on hasbropulse.com though.
