About as much point as a cassette player and tape transformer.

And don't remind me of Voltron. I had the whole set then lent it to my cousin, figuring I'd get it back. Never saw it sense.

I could rebuy it on ebay, but I think that defeats the purpose.

One of the coolest Transformers concepts I've ever seen. It's fan-made and very well done:

On another note, the Masterpiece Grimlock is out. It's not cheap at $150, but it is the definitive version.

Newest clips from ShoWest. Never thought I'd see a Transformer throw a roundhouse kick on the big screen. Pure gold.

Yeah, it's an awesome trailer. It's great on HD as well.

Can't wait to see the movie. Hopefully the SI Boot will have a closeup and good showing in it.

How can Megatron be back ?! ... didn't they deal with him in the first movie!?

Hold on, same story as in the cartoons ... so the movie is holding true! yippeee

Saw the trailer before Star Trek in IMAX this weekend. Awesome. I was never into the toys or the cartoons and didn't see the first one in the theater, but watched it when it came out on HD DVD and kicked myself the whole time for not going to the theater. Fandango will have my money very soon for the first Friday morning showing of it in IMAX since it will be offered in that format.

There's also one for GI Joe as well.

Got my tickets the other day. They're almost sold out here a week early, but I think it's because of the fact that Bethlehem was part of the filming.

Well I saw this last night. It's loooooooong. Two and a half freaking hours. Of rubbish.

In it's defense, if you loved the first one you'll love this one. It's exactly the same.

Effects are amazing. So is Megan Fox. (And Isabel Lucas - Aussie bird, ain't half bad either).

I loved it, I did have a few issues though, not to spoil too much for those who haven't seen it yet, the whole "I've just come around and hey, the matrix is here" thing was a bit "WTF?" and Mudflap and Skids are just comedy stereotypes that don't really mesh with the film (they are funny though)

So I take it there's no visible Oakley appearance in the sequel?

I didn't spot any. A soldier wears what looks like a knock off pair of Half Jackets.

I have to tell you, we all loved it. I was in a group of 10 that didn't leave the theatre until 1:30 this morning...and it was worth it. The acting wasn't the best, but the action was great, and the stories are somewhat consistant with the basics of the original cartoon. I was glad to see the matrix make an appearance.

Saw the movie today. A lot of action, I liked the first movie and thought they did a good job with this one giving it a more Adult edge to it. I did notice a definite Oakley appearance with an O icon on the top of a helicopter near the beginning of the movie (with a 2 1/2 hour movie it is hard to tell the exact point) it also looked liked the character Major Lennox was wearing a pair of black Factory Pilot gloves and the soldiers might have been wearing S.I. Assault Boots (with all the action it was hard to get a really good look)

The soliders were definitely wearing SI Boots. You can see it on them in some set pics, but it is probably difficult to tell when watching the movie itself. Just like it was with the first film.

The Masterpiece line always puts out the best stuff. The latest is Soundwave:

Fortress Maximus re-issue. About damn time. Might save collectors from paying $1,500 for a vintage complete-in-box one.
