Actually I'm wondering why Oakley.com features X-Metal Juliet (with X-Metal/Ruby picture!) on the right hand side of the Penny page http://oakley.com/o/o1276d) but the Penny is not featured on the Juliet's. Could this mean anything?

oh and by the way we try not to use the term first gen around here, mainly because it isnt true, it all depends on the batch that the ruby lense come out of, regardless of when they were made.

I love my juliets but i just ordered the ruby pennys off their site to add to the collecvtion, but i'm a little worried they will look kinda small on my face because I never tried on a pair.....I just added a pic of the 3 i have into my profile.........

But ah, I figured I would just stick with perfection and get another Juliet.

I love the juliets too, but I ordered a Penny Ruby to add to my collection.

I like the Juliets but I ordered both.

I just did a big NO NO today, I sold my glock 26 to a buddy of mine so i can order the ruby juliets, so now i guess i'm getting both.

Way to go. I would never thought that a Glock and a Oakley Sunglass can be valued the same!

it truly is ridiculous that a pair of sunglasses cost $425 but as long as we're willing to pay that for them, they got us by the nuts. But believe me that i will be sending them back if i'm not totally pleased...

I just spoke to tele-sales at Oakley and the sales guy said these will come with serial numbers. I hope he knows what he is talking about. Maybe that is why these are pre-orders. Oakley is making them right now!
