I don't recall talking about the actual building before. Is the front made of actual metal or just a treatment to make it look like it is?

I recall being told that it is often referred to as " The Bunker " - any confirmation on that?

"Bunker" and "Design Bunker" are thrown around in print and online in a few places. The Interplanetary HQ goes back to when they were at 10 Holland, Irvine I believe. Maybe befor ethat even. It may have been used for a bit too when they got to Foothill and then you just stopped hearing it being refered to as such. It would still work though even if it has been phased out.

Tick, a good amount of the building (lobby) and industrial fixtures are actually a honeycomb like hollow core metal so it's not solid or near as heavy as one would think. Done up by Hollywood special effects and set people. I'm sure the front is metal but possibly equally as much of the honeycomb core stuff.

I was there today with some old friends, and made some new ones!! Nutcase is a class act and first and foremost, TOTAL THANKS OUT TO ERIC "THE_REAL_DEAL" for the total hook up in everything! He made things happen, and it is HUGELY appreciated!!! We took the tour, cruised through the belly of the beast, and had a good time. Joses was a cool cat as well. Here is the couple of pix I took for the hell of it...I normally don't take pix since I go fairly frequently...

the first time i saw HQ it was around 12:30 AM as well. here's a photo of my "first sighting" of HQ.
