To launch in July will be "DRIVING FORCE on A&E". There will be an entire show devoted to Oakley & The Force Girls. The show will feature interactions between athlete and sport marketer, a full tour of the Oakley building and a explanation of Oakley's High Definition Optics® (HDO®), and Carbon X testing. Thoughtout the series there will be several Oakley and Force Girls interactions.

Phil...no cable? Really?! You're a dying breed!

Yeah Brian, I kind of thought it seemed a bit odd that one of his competitors is getting a plug. But who knows maybe the O is expanding and is going to sponsor more drivers? Who knows?

no, the O is already the dominant eyewear sponsor in NHRA. for a while, they had an agreement with NHRA to be exclusive. I'm sure FP or Jim would love to share about that experience went...

here's a pic of John Force's car from GatorNationals; you can clearly make out the Icon on the upper part of the driver's window (perfect marketing spot)

one of his daughters is already a ProStock Driver on "Team Force." She's def. Oakley sponsored. The other two daughters are working up through alcohol levels if I recall. They probably have tons of sponsors too, if only because of their dad.

We may just need a team to run tapes for those who can't get it. If we're lucky, doesn't A&E sell most of their programs on DVD after it's aired?

Brian, the girl you're thinking about in Pro Stock is named Erica Enders, she is of no relation to the Force family.

John's oldest daughter, Ashley, drives Top Alcohol Dragster--basically the equivalent of the "minor leagues" compared to nitro cars. One step down. And she has 2 sisters driving Jr. Dragsters, basically like "little league" for drag racing.

And it looks like Ashley will be joining her dad in Nitro Funny Car starting in the 2007 season. She just got licensed to drive Nitro Funny Cars and they've chosen a crew chief for her car next year.

Ashley, along with her father and the rest of their team typically sport Oakley, as Oakley is the official lifestyle sponsor of the NHRA.

Can't wait to see the show!

I just forgot which division she was in. I remember seeing her race a few weeks ago, but not which class.

How did a dude like John Force end up with 3 gorgeous daughters?!? That's what I want to know. These girls are awesome from what little I saw of them in the trailer. I wish I got A&E over here.

Just use your 'Frio's as a signal mirror to morse code the cable co. On second thought, see if you can get Dann to transfer his recording to Beta for you...you have a TV right?

Phil, I'm sure SGH has a phone you can use. You do know how to use it, right? you push the buttons in a certain order (check the phonebook). make sure you're talking into the right end.
