I’m guessing the “cookie “ will be one of the modular components. Probably a lens, but I’m just guessing.

Looks like 4 lenses on the front, but I assume 2 are optics, and 2 are IR focus assists or something.

Probably only one is a camera, maybe two One is more than likely the proximity outlet than that who knows. Probably something to do with the 4V

Very cool. Still curious how well the phone will perform creating the 4V. Hopefully there's some good content to download too.

Content is always key with new tech. I’m very curious as to how much there will be upon the phone’s release and how much is in the pipeline.

Video of the TI version.

The black sections you see are Kevlar. Now I have to figure out where I’m going to get the money for one of these come August!

Through a completely random series of events, I was on a set and got face to face with this thing. I didn't get to hold it or anything, but it was fun to look at and watch them shoot with it. I assumed I'd never get to see one in person.

They also used a pretty nice gimbal setup.

Beautiful. I think maybe I could afford one handle on that rig.

The red grip looks nice, though. Would be a good investment.

That Jim Jannard fella sure knows how to build a nice gift box and put a pretty bow on his awesome products:

Jim never disappoints! I’m an iPhone guy so I’m not a player in the RED phone game. Good luck to everyone who gets one though.

For a moment, I thought it was possible to go with 4K at 240fps !

Hah, I did too, but then I saw that they were greyed out. I'm guessing only Standard Definition will allow that. 1080p at 60fps, and hopefully 720p at 120 should still be good.

Seems JJ put away the Pit Boss for a bit and is favouring the Crosslink Switch Rx. Nice!

Still a bit disappointing, though. A Gopro H6 can do 4K 60fps or FHD 240fps :/
Well, OK, a gopro is only a camera, but I would think that this smartphone is way more powerful than a Gopro.
Maybe they'll unleash the beast later.

Looks like Ti pre-orders will have to wait a little bit but ultimately will end up with two phones according to JJ;
