To me, that dragon is reminiscent of the mad scientist art.

I don't know if Amazing Spider-man 2 will be entirely on 35mm film, but it's interesting they went with film when they went with Red for the previous movie (which was a major coup for the young company).

Red is being considered for X-men: Days of Future Past:

http://www.bleedingcool.com/2013/03/17/everything-else-bryan-singer-told-me-about-x-men-days-of-future-past/

I'm not sure which camera we're going to use. I've been debating between three. I had a good experience with the Epic Reds but X-Men will have it's own specific look. It takes place in different times, and those times will have different looks.

Red, Oakley, and Bryan Singer go hand in hand. It has to happen.

Yeah, I think some companies are a bit jealous and "nervous." I like Sony stuff too but they might be hearing foot steps. Then again maybe they're tired of worrying about having to play catch-up?

It is an interesting article. I love how people want to tear down the guy who had the guts to be an innovator. Fear of the new and unknown.
