No, it's actually a duplicate image of what you're looking at just off to the side

But I noticed reflections of my own eye on several shades, esp. Montefrio (grey) and all the Clear lenses (f.e. Zero - Titanium Clear, XX HI Blue, also sometimes with the em slate juliet)!?

Speaking of ruby clear, I went out last night with my Splice ruby clear, and they were great to wear, very good on the eyes.

Its a good thing they dont have dual iridium coating !

The more there is light, the more ghosting you will notice, almost none with them, but Ti clear as a lot of it,even at night.

Yeah, the ghosting isnt as bad as Ruby Clear, but its still there. Eric, Ruby Clear does have have a dual Iridium coating.

Not on every model I think, would like if someone could confirm this.

Ruby clear on MD or Unknown is not the same lens that on the Why 3 for exemple.

my monsterdog ruby clear and my unknown ruby clear are both dual coated, as well as my hi blue xx, & hi blue half jacket lenses...I think my glod clear unknowns do also, but will have to take them out to verify it...

What's with the dual layer Iridium coating anyhow? I'll be receiving a pair of Ruby Clear glasses soon, so I hope they're practical enough for everyday wear.

Also, I meant to ask, how does Ruby Clear compare to -Red?

Ok well if its indeed double coated, it does not strain my eyes, wich I tought was the reason it was doing so with the Why 3 one.

It could be there some Unknown lenses have double-sided iridium while others don't. I remember a member telling me his Why 3s didn't have duel iridium coating and I was positive mine did. Also, due to its curvature, I don't expect models like the MD or Unknown to have too much ghosting because less light will enter and cause reflection.

As for -Red, I put up a review a couple days back. It doesn't ghost any for me. Then again, the RC Why 3s don't ghost for me either because they sit pretty close to my eyes.

It's difficult to tell -Red from Ruby Clear in pics, but hopefully this pic will differentiate them for those still wondering. The MD and Big Square Wire in the top row are -Red. The Square Wire in the top row is VR50 Ruby Iridium. The rest are Ruby Clear.
