I just hope that whatever is voted on ultimately is realistic, with a slant more towards how well they'd look while being worn as oppossed to pure collectibility. It may be treading on some toes to say this, but Oakley is about being worn, and not just being put in a display case because it's rare. The majority rules, but you don't want Oakley laughing you out the door either. They have a brand image to protect.

So when is this going to happen anyway? We have nothing to even take to Oakley, and don't even know who would do that or how many people would order? It's still a bit vaporware, sadly.

My understanding was that we were going to conduct a 3-part survey in which people chose an existing Monster Dog combo, a Mix'n'Match Monster Dog combo utilizing existing Monster Dog frame and lens options, and a completely customized Monster Dog combo? Is that not what was decided?

Dann is the master at putting together polls with drop-down message bubbles and all that so I think this should be pretty straight forward once someone (wink wink nudge nudge) gets the time to put it together.

Those pics you posted just proved the point that they're too durn big for most of us girls to wear, and I don't even have a small face (though my hat size is small.. go figure). ;)

I'm not baiting Rick though. If I were baiting Rick, I'd be talking about taking my Juliets to the local optician, and having them put any ole lense in there as a custom job. Now that's baiting Rick! ;)

Rick, you're wife looks like a very nice woman... having said that, the Riddles just don't look too great. And it's not your wife's fault. They look too much like goggles trying to be sunglasses.

I suspect that the oil drum cool if you're into the big styles. Now that's something that follows a general trend in bigness, but yet is its own style.

Yes, your better half looks awesome in the brown gradients.

They really suit her. ALMOST AS MUCH AS THEY SUIT YOU BECAUSE THEY ARE REALLY YOURS!

You know me too well Ford! I let her borrow them on special occasions. The Pink Dartboard L is my other closet favorite.

I am with Kim, Oakley really tries to hard to sell to women with imitated styles from otheres, anyway thats not the place for that there a thread on that somewhere...

Dann, how do we do this poll, about 70 people voted, they cant all give 3choices each !!

Rick your wife looks good wearing the Riddles as does mine in her new violet iridium ones. Its all a matter of personal preference Kim. I saw numerous women in Cabo last summer wearing sunglassses twice the size of the riddle.

So how will voting proceed? What if people just vote for their own selection? A frame could then win by having like a dozen votes and the remaining votes are distributed amongst twenty suggestions. Is there anyway to set it up so that you vote for your top three or five or whatever? Or perhaps an initial vote to narrow it down.

Also, what about suggestions that are very very close to each other?

It's all good, just asking.

Probably an initial vote I would guess, would make sense.

I doubt it Justin, but if you only buy stuff because they will become rare, they are all becoming rare once they stopped production, so for me its just what I like and wear.

No one's gonna convince me that I'm wrong here. I don't follow many female stereotypes, but I'll follow this one. I'm a woman, and I know what looks good! ;)

Anyway, back to the topic.. wouldn't it better to vote for colorway? I mean lense color and frame color is so connected together. You can't have one without the other.
