nope, broke like they always do, and got left at the line...Humiliated by a Mustang, and the worst part is...It had a Chevy powerplant in it...Talk about salt in the wound...

so boring an unrefined over all these years..Not to mention the new Z06 will probably eat it like it were a snack...But hey, I am not even an American car fan. Go Euro or stay home is the way I see it...You can throw any pile of Honda crap, Chevy, Ford, or Dodge recycled junk against any equivalent Euro, and they will get smoked straight out of the box....Most of the time. Especially when you throw them against the New Bugatti (which has a VW powerplant), or even the VW W12 (hopefully it will see production) which killed the Corvette's world speed record by a very large margin, twice. But the reality of it all is...Honda is a great tuner car for someone on a budget. This was not to offend, just humor...

Very nice choice...German performance is a pure work of engineering art...I had a VW Jetta (Or Bora as it's known there) with the 2.8 VR6 and was very very happy...It ran hard and never ever gave me troubles. Traded it in for a truck (see the fanatic thread) due to buying ATV's, and at 97,000+ miles, it ran better than it did at time of purchase. Very awesome engine, and the basis for the W-12 and now W-16 in the Bugatti

I really enjoyed watching a Caddy CTS-V wreck the Audi A8 on Top Gear.

Top gear is freakin' awesome...I saw them break down the Audi A8 Diesel and get it to run 800 miles on 1 tank of fuel. It was sweet...As far as the Caddy vs. Audi...Just ask yourself this? Will the Caddy even come close to lasting as long as the Audi. You know they are only good for about 90,000 miles before they start to lose transmissions, or leak fluids all over...The american stuff just isn't terribly reliable, and those 2 aren't even in the same class. But the new High Performance Caddys sure are sweet, and the styling is pretty nice too. Now all they need is to trim them out for younger buyers, and they will start moving more and more.

I was just watching Dodgeball for the first time...Yes, I know...I noticed one of the annoucers wearing what appeared to be an M Frame with G26 lens, and the Las Vegas PD team were all sporting M Frmaes with the Grey lens...

Has anyone else seen the CSI episode where Nick Stokes (George Eads) wears what I'm pretty sure is a Matte Black Mosnterdog? It fits him perfect, but looks a little small to me, for an MD. Or is it just that he's got a large head??

Yea, I have seen him wear a couple Oakleys, the MD, and one time a Sq wire but lately he has been wearing a lot of Lux. product.

I have humiliated every NSX stupid enough to try and race me. And I was considering them when car shopping until I pressed the accelerator and NOTHING happened. They are as weak as sick prostitutes. Im also undefeated VS Porshe.
I'd like to see you race this Fiat just for the hell of it.

That's great. Just goes to show anything can be made to go fast. I had an Omni GLH Turbo back in high school that tuned the Mustang GT 5.0's off the line. In the end, it was still an Omni, but it gave me satisfaction. Corvette, Caddy, NSX, Porsche, Audi - I'd take any of 'em.

Well there are several differences between american cars and japanese cars that make me prefer japanese cars.. for one, they are just better made... secondly.. the NSX is soooo much more badass than a corvette.. unless its the lingerfelter vette or something

I wondered what you said about the VW W12 - there's allready a Phaeton W12 out there!
Check the new MZ4 and the M6 (both BMW)... they are so beautiful and have a lot of power...

BTW - I would prefer the mustang, I love the design. The pimped one in the T.I. - what know about video is soo hot.

Do you even drive hoots? And Baddass is subjective I dont think theres any measurable way that NSX compares to a lemans winner
it's not important if he drives or not ,it's just his taste ( and mine BTW )

Did you know that the Honda NSX was developped by the great ayrton Senna ? If you watch the dvd about his life , there is a big part about that piece of his life.

In europe the Corvette is very impopular , Why ?
Because it handles like the typical US. Muscle-car ; great on straights because of his immence power , but comes the corners it wiggles and wobbles all over the place. No match for NSX / M3-5 BMW / or even a VW GOLF GTI.
If you don't believe this , just watch TOP GEAR , and they will point that out in a rather UNsubtile way...

And overhere we have a lot of corners in the roads...

Fortunately we do!

And long live English kitcars.... ;-)

I dont think theres any measurable way that NSX compares to a lemans winner
I don't think the NSX has ever competed in Le Mans. Besides, the Le Mans versions of any racecar are totally different from a streetlegal racecar.

Don't mean to break the fun, I myself am a huge car fan...but take a look at the name of the thread for a second : ''OAKLEY ON TV''...so unless your car is made by Oakley and it's shown on TV...I suggest we talk about this in an off-topic thread called ''Cars'' or ''Cars on tv'' or something like that...

I see so many people complaining about moderators locking thread and stuff...how can you expect to see threads remain open when the conversations go on endless tangents that are barely remotely related to Oakley. Let's not be daredevils, and not kid ourselves either.

So next time you want to make a comment about mods and how they're running the site, think back if you're someone who feeds these kind of tangents. I don't mean to be an a$$hole, but it's just that I think we could easily avoid lots of troubles here.

Simple.

I just watched an episode of Pinks tonight (season premier) Mustang vs Honda...Many of the guys were wearing Oakleys...Big Chief was wearing FMJ/Orange w/Fire XX, another guy was soorting Half Jackets, , saw what looked like Corvette Juliets, could have been Carbon w/Fire though...Many Oakleys...
this started the derail... yes, oakley was involved
