Hi Guys !

Could anyone post some pics of the actual X Men Juliet and Penny with the goggle like features/extended frames ?

Do you have any news of them ie what happened to them? Were they kept by James Marsden as souvenirs or now part of the Oakley HQ Museum ?

man, you could fit more than an mp3 player in those. a whole cd by the look of it, or maybe a muffin for when you get hungry, and proper headphones too!

I like the way the Juliets are designed, it keeps any light from entering your field of view, but i guess that might just be me since my face isn't perfectly fitted to these lenses.

Ah would it not be great to have Oakley's tailored to the exact shape of your face. Tailor made Oakley Couture anyone?

splices fit my face about perfectly. that's why i gotta buy some emerald splices as soon as i save enough cash. *sigh*

cyclops' juliets have extra side things to block light - you knew that i'm sure

Here's some of the Penny's from X2. I couldn't find any really good shots of the blinders on the Penny's, but here you go.

And of course the redesigned goggles.

Did Oakley design the Cyclops visor v 2.0? Do you remember when X-men 1 came out, Oakley had this huge promotion on their website with the cyclops visor and the Ruby juliet.

When X2 came out, nothing on the Oakley website, and I remember I saw a sneak preview of X2 and was surprised to see the Pennys on Cyclops, because nary a promotion had been made on the net.

I like the 2nd visor a lot. They should sell those things from the website. THEY ARE AWESOME.

I read that the movies (X2) art department re-did the Visor based on the original to slim it down and that Oakley really didn't have anything to do with it.

I remember the big push from X-Men. I have the free Cyclpos poster that Oakley sent out rolled in tube for safe keeping.

There was going to be a replica sold as a collectible. (not from Oakley) The slit even lit up. I had one on order, but they shelved it. It would have been cool if Oakley sold one, now there's an item for the Oakley Hardcore to hunt down for their collection.
