I was wondering, is there any benefits to being a shareholder, besides the fact that you own a small fraction of the greastest company ever. I mean, do you get anything special? Like catalogs or special items? Just wondering, cause I would like to buy some shares.

If you buy stock through a broker, you get an anual report every year. At least I do for all other stocks I own..

I was wondering about getting some too. I'm curious about buying a few shares. So if anyone does have any stock buying info., that would be cool.

with most online brokers you can buy as little as one share. the price ranges from $7 - $25 per transaction + the cost of the shares.

I work at a Broker Dealer. I have a few shares in my account. No real benefits in owning a share in the company. You do get the annual reports but not discount codes or anything.

You probably all know this, but a benefit of owning shares in any company is the dividend they pay per share. So for example if you have 1000 Oakley shares and they pay you a half yearly dividend of 15 cents per share thats $150 bucks mister. So you get $300 a year for nothing and if you're lucky the share price increases so your money is "working for you".
