I watched this 2h+ interview w/ Peter Yee recently:
Really quite interesting what he had to say on how to be creative and how they came up with designs. At one point he mentions a part for X-Metals was inspired by a Porsche 911 door handle. So I was wondering which part do many X-Metals have in common and what does remotely look like a Porsche 911 door handle? The ear stems, I suppose: https://cdn.rosepassion.com/p97976-turgriff-aussen-verchromt-chrom-chrom-links-photo-97976-0-webP97976cop1.jpg

In that interview they touch on many designs he made for Oakley. I thought it'd be a neat thing to add the lead designer to products in the database Dann. What do you think?

Definitely interesting where design inspiration comes from, clever, unique and at times kinda logical. I'll have to check that link out above that you posted. But my first thought usually when I see interviews of Yee's and his instagram posts about Oakley design and his designs is that he should - if he legally could - put out his own design book. I'd buy it!

Yes, that would be something cool to add. Maybe we should start a small list, so I it's not too sporadic right off the bat. Pretty sure Jamin was responsible for the Twitch/EyePatch.

Don’t think Jamin was responsible for the design of Twitch Eyepatch, but he was kind of the head of the unofficial alt marketing team which is who the stretch line stuff was made for. They went after the “non-traditional” talent. Rappers/Musicians.X-Games type athlete etc.

I recalled his name being on the patent, but I'd have to check again
