Hi,
I am reading about the Oakley boots and they look tight but are they comfortable? I REFUSE TO BUY A PAIR OF OAKLEY SANDALS...I love the way they look but they wore terribly and very fast. Did anybody else have that problem?

If you had to choose, what type of Oakley boots/shoes would you buy? Also, just out of curiosity, does Oakley make clothes?

Oakley makes lots of apparel. Check the Database if you want to check some of it out. It's a bit pricey, but great quality. I personally didn't like the "skate" shoes I tried on, mainly because the midsole was too stiff.

Charles every pair of Shoes I have from OAKLEY are very comfortable and hard wearing. One of the best is the SI Assualt boot. My sandles I've had for 3 years and are getting softer and more comfortable with age.
As for apparel check the data base and of course Oakley.com
The new web design should make it fun for you.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the response...just out of curiosity, what kind of Oakley sandals did you get? I wore them for less than 3 months and they are terrible...if I wear them for more than 15 minutes(and that is not an exageration) they sweat like crazy and I will literally slip...it is absolutely disgusting.

I eventually bought leather rainbow sandals and they don't do that at all...in fact, I have had the same pair almost a year and I wear them almost everyday.

p.s. I was wondering why someone responded so quickly...but I forgot that we are all in different time zones. It is so awneat esome that people from across the world (even in Australia) have a passion for Oakley.

Charles...I have the Original Smoke. They have a suede type dimple finish to them and seem to absorb most of the moisture on my feet. It's not a rubber or plastic undersole.
If you want some real nice sandals check the new one's
I'm really keen on these the Box Top 2.0 Full Leather.

Right now all I wear are Oakley shoes. They fit comfortably right out of the box. How much do they wear? Depends on how much walking you do and in what kind of conditions. If I were going to buy another pair right now I'd go with Centerfire.

Sandals are nice; the Box Top suggested above is probably a good choice, but there is now a real broad range of prices too, so have a look. Also, last year's models are still worth checking out if they have them in a store near you.

I love Oakleys Sandals. I've had my Split Crater for more than 3 years now and the bottoms have barely worn and the leather or synthetic (whatever) has held up very well. Only slightly fading. They're excellent. I can;t wait to grab the Gasket this spring. As far as the other shoes go, the ones I own are very comfy, Bob clog and Nail boot. The only thing that's kept me from buying more is that the sizes didn't seem uniform for a while but I'll be getting some this year for sure.

I've worn Flesh and Nail first, when those wore out, I'm on Go Kart and Assault Boots now. No regrets with any insofar as comfort goes.

My Nails are still in great shape, no tread wear, but then I only wear them in the winter or for hiking.

I've worn Smoke Ring sandals for two summers, and they were just starting to stretch out at the end of last summer after almost daily wear. The outsoles are still in great shape. They are very comfortable, I might add.

I haven't had luck with O shoes due to fit. They all seem to be very narrow in the toe area and "curved" from heel to toe. My foot is very "straight" and I need a wide toe box. However, every time I've tried a pair on, they seem very comfortable and supportive otherwise. The workmanship and quality is always top-notch.
