Good fix O_taj! It sucks buyers have to face this with the Kato; hopefully Oakley doesn't give any hassle with warranty returns. All this brings back memories of the first generation of the SI Assault boot and how the soles came unglued easy. What a clusterfuck that was.

On another note related to the Kato, the 24k version is out at O Stores now.

This repair has increased the amount of glue compared to the genuine product. Obviously, the genuine product has a small amount of glue. The reason for the small number is probably to prevent the glue from sticking out. For this repair, I stuck masking tape as close as possible. That's why glue went into every corner. The finish is very beautiful. There is no glue sticking out.

Now eBay. I think oakley has changed the way kato is glued. OakleyCreator kato cannot recognize glue.

My guess would be they had them rendered at different times by different people. You can see they same thing on the web site regularly. They will have two pairs of the same style with the same lens and in the renders they look completely different.

Oakley Norway ain’t got them yet. But there was one other store that had them for ten minutes before they were gone:(

I think that O_taj is trying to say is the OO9455-07 Kato lens he received, which was suppose to be Dark Golf according to the order forms, does not look match previous Dark Golf lenses.

YES. The colors of the dark golf lenses I have used so far and the kato-07 dark golf I have are different.
