I thought considering we are also big movie fans it would be cool to have a dedicated place to talk about them and stuff like that,
so here we go.

yeah Mike i saw hitch last week its very funny.
I just saw 9 songs and hostage.
9 songs is basically just sex and music mixed together
sex/music/sex/music/sex/music.

hostage is amazing its bruce willis back to his best.
i dunno if 9 songs is coming out in america if it does it will probably be cut as its the most explicit movie ever released in UK cinema.

Adam, I've been told that unless you enjoy watching movies about people sitting around fires, it's not worth it.

I should do netflix. Good way to build up my DVD+R collection. Whoops..I mean.....never mind.

Just bought some 'Blood Bath' 4 pack of horror movies, Demons under Glass, some other demon movie, Saw, and the 'Manniquin' Cradle of Filth DVD. No idea what that last one is, but I'm sure it will be good. Probably music video's I hope.

Not to mention the 14 horror DVD's I picked up a month ago. Only two stinkers out of the whole bunch, so that's not too bad. Dee Snider's Strangland is a good camp movie if you run across it. Blood Moon too, a good modern movie...with Tim Curry so you know it's gotta be good :P

All I had heard about Rob Zombies movie House of 1000 Corpses is that most people had actually wanted to walk out on it.

Anybody else looking forward to the summer comic book movies? Both Batman and Fantastic Four are big budgeted films. I'm looking forward more to FF than Batman, as the Batman trailers have failed to impress me so far. I just hope FF doesn't get compared to The Incredibles too much, as that was a really good movie and hard to surpass.

I think Batman will be cool....taking it back to its roots before Schumacher et al ruined it (I haven't even seen Batman & Robin).

I saw Be Cool last week. By itself it's an ok movie (The Rock is hilarious) but because its a very sub-par sequel to the very awesome Get Shorty, I can't enjoy it as much. But Uma Thurman is a hottie.

Will watch The Life Aquatic when they have cheap arse tuesday again in Perth ($5 tix!)

Just saw The Incredibles on DVD - it was awesome! Probably the best movie I've seen in a while....really fun.

The guy in the new Batman (can't remeber his name) has made a couple of B movies over the years...one was American Psycho I think and I recently saw one he made that was an action B movie but the choreography was just awesome....he should be a fantastic Batman. Not to mention he's really buff, unlike the others, they shouldn't have to "hide" flabby action hero's in rubber suits....

Christian Bale's his name. Just found out the other day he was in Spielberg's Empire of the Sun. Go figure. he was in Shaft 2000 with Sam Jackson as well. He's a great actor and they made a great choice with him. We'll seen if the rest of the movie was prone to great choices.

As for the costume....looks kinda funny. Specifically, the cowl looks kinda funny.

Yeah Saw was great. 1000 Corpses was terrible in my opinion. Just a copy of Texas Chainsaw massacre. It even had a leatherface character. However...Hell's Rejects looks good.
