Is M-frame SLASH Gen 2 correct that there is no slit near the nose? My SLASH has a slit near the nose. A picture of SLASH without a slit. Oreview image data also has no slit. I want to know.

Slash photo with slit

The setting of color is not much different between Gen 1 and Gen 2. In Gen 1 there is a slit near the nose, Gen 2 has no slit. Is not that the correct answer? . I recently noticed

There is no slit in SLASH RX which I possess

I thought it was a difference of the frame icon for a long time

That frame is the modern Pro M Frame, not Gen 2. The player is Amare Stoudemire. I don't think he sourced an old lens by himself to use. I think Oakley made that lens specially for him since 2009. Wish Scott (Bazooka) was here; he'd be able to clarify. As for if non-vented clear Slash lenses exist and were sold to the public, not really sure. All I seen, or at least that I can remember, have vents.

Here is his actual pair displayed by the Knicks:

I think that this is the Slash generation 2 that is now on e-bay. I want to purchase. However, the seller does not ship to Japan. I tried negotiations many times last night but was refused. I am very sad.

Wonderful !! For a long time I thought that the difference between gen 1 and gen 2 is the difference between the frame logo and the shape of the sponge. Recently I knew there was a lens with no ventilation hole around my nose and carefully saw a lot of pictures of lenses with no ventilation holes around the nose like the uploaded photos. Part of it was a data image of Slash gen 2 planetX in oreview's database. It has no ventilation holes around the nose. Does Dann own gen 2 have no ventilation holes around the nose?
I want to know the difference

A wonderful item. I still do not understand true intention. The slash of e-bay you uploaded before has not arrived yet at me. Does the new no ventilation slash lens question arise when it arrives?

There is no ventilation in the nose part in this Slash. Is this a late model? When was it sold? Were there other colors as well?

Does anyone know?

I got slash for the first time with no ventilation in the nose part.

Thank you. If there are other colors in this type without ventilation, I will also increase the goal of collection.

I went to clean a pair of my 2nd Gen Black/Clear Slash lenses today. The lenses do have the nose vents. As I usually do with all M Frames, I was going to remove the nose piece to make cleaning easier. I noticed that the nose piece looked like it was glued in. One side came out freely without any force at all but I noticed some dried glue around the lens.

Another 1st Gen pair I have appears to have some glue holding the nose piece in place as well.

Did Oakley glue these in place? I never even thought about that possibility until today.
