i want to pull the trigger and buy some but none of the stores around the Upstate of South Carolina carry them. i hate to buy some without trying them on. I had a pair of valve's and a pair of the sunglass hut canteen. anybody know how they compare? some info or pics would be great!

oogie and H01B3RG has extensive experience with them, so perhaps they can chime in.

Overall, I think the Straightlink is a great release for a solid, comfy pair of eyewear. For sake of comparison that you provided, my interpretation is that the Valve is sized a bit larger and fits a bit looser than the Canteen. That said, I would say the Straightlink is fairly comparable to the Valve and if you like the fit/feel of the Valve, then go for it! Maybe it's all the extra unobtanium on the earsocks, but I would also draw a parallel with the Turbine. To me, it fits very similar to a Turbine, but has smaller orbitals so it doesn't look as large.
I don't have a Canteen, but have the others and can provide some comparo pics later if it would be helpful.

thanks for sharing, oogie. i thought as soon as i saw them they looked a lot like the turbine but smaller. i have always loved the look of the turbine but they just fit too big for my face so hopefully the straightlink will do the trick
