Disruptive by Design
Oakley held an event that according to some accounts, was two years in the making. A small website has also been put online, and we can hope that it will be fleshed out in the near future.

Details are sparse at the moment, but it was held at RED studios with Jim in attendance, and many of the notable figures were there. I will try to add photos as they appear in the social media outlets.

For now, they released this teaser video.

So is that set going to be for sale? I'm scared to even ask what the price point would be...at least now we know where the dog tag bottle opener set came from...

The set I posted a while back came from the designer. I'm guessing they had a spot for them, and included it in this pack.

With stuff like those dogtags, the biggest cost is having the dies made, so I'd be shocked if those were one-offs. I'd wager they were made by the same company that Oakley has been using for the second gen X-Metal coins as well as the SI/HQ coins that we've seen floating around.

They made 5000. There were rumors they might end up as promo items like the grips or pins.

Yeah they poked us at our PKs for the last year about it, we've been talking about 2015 for a year around my place. Now I want the next PK to come faster.. ;)

This looks like it's not a rebranding per se, but a reintroduction of the brand. Aside from the formal place settings, this looks like an Oakley party circa 2006 (pre-Lux)!
