Had this finally forwarded over from a Euro retailer, so I don't feel like I'm betraying the original early info providers.

Matte Fog? Hmm.

I think I'll be after the Carbon Fiber / Ice model first.

wonder if the jade polar would continue to be a SGH exclusive lens option

Good call. I haven't heard anything about them returning to general distribution, but the recent color refreshes on the Garage Rock, Holbrook, etc... might have indicated that it has.

you could be right Dann. esp after seeing the jade polar frog make its way to the vaults, so maybe they won't be SGH exclusive anymore.

Not many frame colors. Most seem to polished black, I hope the icons and ear socks will at least match the lens color.

There is something more going on with those wings. On the latest batch of photos look at the arm that is away from the camera. What is that? Does it do something?

Maybe some kind of switch lock system? Twist it or snap it outwards to release the lens?

They might just be removable, or made separate and not end-user swappable.

Or they wanted the M Frame style but you've got the option for a slim temple by removing them?

I don't date back to the Pro debut, anyone have any recollection of a purpose behind the temple design? The M2 doesn't look nearly as clean at the temples, but remove the wing and you're bascially wearing a Radar.

Oh, and is that photo I put on Facebook the Fog frame? There's only one silver frame, and it's paired with Fire, and that lens looks more like grey, which would make that the polished fog?

I guess it's just kind of a pearl silver? Polished light grey?

Might be temple locks as well, allowing you to make the frame a Pro and lock the hinges? That might be cool. Pro frame function with folding frame storage.

Can't wait until you guys all try these on! Love the feel and weight! ;) Only got hands on with the polished black one though!

That polished fog looks interesting.

More I look at the M2 the more I'm going off it

That lense looked good from the first frontal pic but now I've seen the side profile it just looks butchered
Maybe I need to see it in the flesh
