Most of you have already seen the Wardens and RazorBlades, but the Whiskers are awesome....

Don't know if I'll get a pair but it's tempting.

Just came back from swinging by the local O-store. Mostly hoping to check out the Why 8.2 and hoping to see the Crosshair. Surprisingly, they also had the Whiskers and Dartboard L. My 2 cents worth:
Whiskers looked almost the same as an A-wire. I actually didn't notice they were a new frame. Essentially, they are very similar to an a-wire with thin wire frame and supa' thin earstems. So if you liked the a-wires and never got around to getting a pair, then the Whiskers are likely right up your alley.
Why 8.2 I was pretty impressed with. A larger lens than the 8.1, mostly longer than taller. And the lens is more squared at the corners instead of the rounded 8.1. Very Matrix-like, I thought they were a very sweet addition to the Why line.
Crosshair, well, we've already seen pics of those. Pretty much as I expected. Good for those that liked the looks/idea of the Warden, but found the wardens too large.
Dartboard L, bigger/blockier lens ... not for me, so I didn't give it much time.
I also saw the "heads up" email sent to the O-store for the re-released RazorBlade and (excuse me for forgetting the name) the half-jacket like new style. As previously mentioned, it did look like a mix between the half-jacket and dartboard frame. Looked interesting.
I felt bad not bringing the digital camera along so I could come back and report with some pics ... sorry guys.

Super, I love A wires and was considering getting another pair. Looks like I'll just wait for the Whiskers. Although I'm not 100% sure about the name! Not that it makes any difference but I just thought I'd share!

My local O Rep emailed me this morn about the Annapolis O Store having the Whisker and Crosshair. He said the Whisker is unbelievable. Shit, I can't wait. Do I want to drive 5 hours on saturday? I would more than likely return with something.

Give'r Phil!! I'd go just to take some pics for everyone here. Plus, I'd probably end up with some new Oakleys too. But, what's the harm in that. You only live once, enjoy that sh*t!!

So Whiskers are using the new O Metal I assume, so they can be thin like the new Split Thread. Sounds interesting.

Whiskers would be an appropriate name for a thin wire.

I wonder how thin we are talking here cos my WHY3 are pretty damn thin.
they must be very light.

Yeah, the overall thickness of the earstems are reasonably on par with the Why 3 (that is, really thin). It has a great look, but the overall sense is so similar to the a-wire.

How much were the whiskers coming in at?

They sound really good.

Take it they are just out in the states. Anyone know what the UK release date is. Looks like I will have to review my shopping list (again)

I would do pics, since Im in the O stores alot. But, I dont cross that line. I know how everyone wants to see, but other people eventually get the pics on the boards. Let them go into the stores and take pics. To me, its a bit much.

I actually have access to the pictures for most upcoming models but we all know that's line crossing, to use Okyman's terminology. It's frustrating, I know, but they'll be nearby where most people can check them out.
