Finally scored my grail.....The Purple Juliet....

Whoa, nice! I'm not really big into metals so I definitely didn't know something like that existed (from Oakley, I'm assuming), but that does look super cool!

What's the story behind this pair? 1-off? limited release? unreleased prototype? is it like an FMJ purple coating/anodizing?

From what I was told there are 2 pairs.....but a 3rd has surfaced...I got these from the son of the head of Quality Control in Henderson....said he found 2 pairs in his dads basement....I paid dearly for them but from what a close friend who also has a pair told me these are prototypes that were never approved....this QC guy supposedly snagged them before they were tossed in the trash heap at Henderson......

Man the more I look at them the I love them!!!

Really nice story too... Must be a pretty strong feeling to have such rarity really!

Like... hummm, for me, I think it would be to have that pair of really bright green M Frame 1st Gen that is in the Oakley Museum...
